Now I'm just imagining Looker trying to interrogate some punk kid, and in his attempt to do so uses slang wrong, and who ever is in the interrogation room with him just sighs and looks over to him while the punk kid is no longer threatened in the slightest.

“I am spilling the tea on you, as it were, because you are a sus.” Looker slams his hand down on the table, this punk kid, he knew what he did.

“I am sure your parents will be very salty at you I have the receipts to prove this, so if you cut the “extra”, and say yaas to your crimes, I will throw this shade away and let you off with a warning.”

That... was a rough go. Looker sighed from exhaustion once back at the station, back from the mission he was sent on. The crogunk at his side made a displeased noise. “Next time, it’ll go on better.” He promised his partner, who nodded in agreement. 

It was something to do with the ultra beasts roaming free on Alola and terrorizing unsuspecting people. Except this time, the particular beast got the better of him and almost... well. The cuts and bruises were enough of an understatement. Thank Arceus that Nate wasn’t involved.

Slowly trudging inside, he was surprised to find Anabel still there and awake despite it being night time. “Anabel-”

A soft smile, man was he lucky to have such an amazing partner like her. She was a good sight to see, after such horrible a mission. “I am too, thank you for waiting for me.”

“Working with Anabel?” He repeats the question as if to get some clarification, but his heart swells a little at the thought. What can he say about working with her? There were way too many words to put into a single thought.

“I wouldn’t say a dream, because she surpasses any dream I could ever think of in my mind, but I do love every day with her at my side.” There’s a silence that passes, before he realizes the wording and his face lights up bright red.

“I- Of course I meant at work! By my side at work!!”

Looker has a strong sense of justice, and wanted to be apart of a force that enforced it. He feels accomplished when he’s helped pokemon and people, and the best way he could do that, was join the International Police.His father was also an agent- and though he was hardly ever home, and it caused his mother a great deal of stress and grief, Looker’s always looked up to his old man, and it even influenced his uniform, or the clothes most people see him in.
