Where do you watch these thai dramas? I've seen a couple i really wanna watch from ur reblogs but idk where to watch OTL
hey there!! welcome to the wild world of thai dramas! please enjoy the complementary green tea and lays chips.
thai dramas are distributed legally for international fans on a variety of different platforms. it can sometimes be tricky to figure out which show is on which streaming service. but never fear! here's a list of the main places to find shows:
YouTube: This is the big one. GMMTV shows, such as Bad Buddy, air here for free! Other popular shows legally available on YouTube include Theory of Love, 3 Will Be Free, A Tale of Thousand Stars, He's Coming to Me, Until We Meet Again, SOTUS, 2gether, and more.
LineTV: A streaming platform for LINE originals and other stuff. Hosts popular shows like Why R U?, TharnType, and Love By Chance. There are some other shows here too (like I Told Sunset About You) but they're region locked so you may need a VPN.
WeTV's iFlix: Another streaming platform with free and paid versions. You can find popular shows like Manner of Death, My Gear Your Gown, and Lovely Writer here for free.
I'd also like to give an honorable mention to the following:
GagaooLala: A unique streaming platform that specializes in queer-centric content. Its Thai drama repertoire is small right now, but it has a huge library of queer shows and movies from all over the world, so if you like LGBT content I recommend checking it out.
Viki: A streaming service mostly for K-dramas, but there are a handful of Thai dramas there too. TharnType, Love by Chance, and Bite Me are there!
Netflix: Netflix used to have more Thai dramas, but a lot of them have been taken off recently. Still, there are a couple of Thai Netflix Originals that are DEFINITELY worth checking out: The Stranded and Girl from Nowhere.
i love making lists and stuff so this reply got a little long 😅 sorry about that! if there's a specific show you want to watch, please feel free to let me know and i'll tell you where you can watch it :)
ETA: i forgot! another way to find where a show is available is to look it up on MyDramaList and check the “Where to Watch” section. sometimes the link there will take you straight to the video! sometimes the link is broken or sites are missing though so it’s worth it to check on the platforms themselves if you're not finding it.
Are you still active?
I lived, bitch

Introducing~
Hi there! I’m Ryan, the Admin for this blog. Since I’ve just thrown myself back into Marvel Hell™, I thought I’d celebrate by making a blog to dump all my headcanons, preferences, scenarios, and reader-inserts in.
I write for every universe, movie and comics, and every character. Just hit me with a request, and I’ll get started on it right away~
Any questions, just ask.
do u have a wlw drama rec list? love ❣️❣️❣️
ooh yes! i do!! here are my top 5:
Out of Breath (Korea, 2019): a short 3-episode mini series about two wlw finding connection. very sweet!
Pearl Next Door (Philippines, 2020): a heartfelt, funny, authentic series about a bi video blogger and the two women she starts developing feelings for. technically a spin-off of gameboys but you don't have to watch gameboys to see this show
Legend of Yunquian (China, 2020): a short-and-sweet low-budget drama about time-traveling lesbian swordswomen. yes. you read that right. it's silly and cute and pretty explicitly queer despite being made in China
Couple of Mirrors (China, 2021): a censored GL series about an assassin and a wealthy novelist/socialite falling in love in 1920s Shanghai. the set design and costumes are SO fun and the main two women have great chemistry!! it might be getting a season 2 as well
Yes or No (Thailand, 2010): a classic for asian lgbt wlw stuff! technically it's a movie but it's still going on this list. enemies to lovers with a side of "and they were roommates!"
and then here are a few more i liked but wouldn't put on my top 5 rec list:
Dear Uranus (Taiwan, 2021): cute 3-episode mini series about a wlw love triangle in a school setting
Lily Fever (Korea, 2015): a very funny but weird webseries about two women who meet under awkward circumstances. it ends on a weird cliffhanger tho, probably bc they ran out of money
I Put the Bi in Bitter (USA, 2018-2019): a web series about a bi high school student and her various slice-of-life shenanigans. the first season isn't... great... but i actually really liked the 2nd and 3rd.
and finally, there's a japanese movie called Until Rainbow Dawn about two deaf lesbians created by a deaf cast and crew and i haven't watched it yet but i've heard nothing but good things, so i think it's probably worth checking out as well!
i'd also love to hear any other recs ppl have. please feel free to reply with your own recommendations ❤
i just finished great mens academy, which i started watching because of your blog and wow!!!!! the queer trans magical gender of it all!!!! my expectations were pretty low and it wasnt the most amazing show ive ever seen but i enjoyed it so much and it was so cute 🤧🤧 incredible how it somehow ended up being kinda trans positive??? but like on accident almost??? amazing!! anyway just wanted to share since youre the reason i watched it!
holy crap omg!!!!!! i'm so happy i was able to introduce you to this show haha, your description is so so accurate. like it's not award-winning cinema but it's just so charming and queer and trans in ways that probably weren't even fully intentional. and the ending is so good!!! anyway i'm super pleased you liked it, thank you for letting me know bc this warms my heart a lot <3 <3 <3
I’ve never seen the gay chip ads; which are some of your faves? 👀
i think whatever the fuck is going on in this video is probably the most hysterical lays ad ever made
