[I DID IT. I CLIMBED THIS WHOLE MOUNTAIN.
I know I said I'd only do ten but then I felt bad for the one who didn't make the cut so I just drew everyone who reblogged it. And for those who had two or more characters I just picked the easiest to draw because I'm lazy.
I hope everyone can recognize their own character(I don't feel like writing out all their gosh darn names too many augh); I kinda warped them a bit because I wanted to see how far my style could stretch as practice.
EDIT: FUCK I FORGOT ALLENS SCARS ON HIS FACE. WHOOPS. FORGIVE ME.]

((help I'm terrible at starters)) A young girl wandered deep in the woods, terribly and hopelessly lost. She usually didn't have this problem, going on her usual route through the woods. But this time she strayed too far from her normal path after being attacked by an angry Nidoking. So now she tried to find her way back, limping slightly. The Nidoking made a deep wound in her leg, and the world was spinning around her. She was pretty sure she was poisoned by one of the Nidoking's attacks, but both she and her Chandelure had no idea how to treat it.
Eventually she lost her balance, falling off a ledge and landing on the ground below with a heavy thud. When she tried to stand, however, the poison had weakened her too much and she fainted.
The sun was warm and made Mansi drowsy. Dozing at her pokemons' sides, she was grateful for being able to snatch an opportunity to relax. Nowadays, relaxation was as an unlikely event as a drilbur swimming in the ocean.
THUD!
Mansi flinched at the loud thump, accompanied by the sound of snapping twigs and a soft moan. Soyala, her deerling, and Etchemin, her lapras, barely stirred, but Hok'ee, her drifblim, rose almost instantly. He looked at her, waiting for her command.
Grabbing her knapsack, she threw the strap over her shoulder and beckoned Hok'ee on. The metallic scent of blood grew stronger and Mansi quickened her pace. The smell could draw any ravenous pokemon close, and for the sake of whoever was injured and the other people in the forest, Mansi had to stifle the bloody trail.
Guided by Hok'ee, she soon found a young woman no older than she was. The stranger lay crumpled and unconscious on the ground, blood caking her leg. A chandelure that Mansi assumed was the woman's pokemon floated around in agitation. Upon seeing Mansi and Hok'ee, however, it hurried in front of its owner, its fire burning brighter.
Mansi held up her hands in a surrendering gesture, letting her basket handle catch in the crook of her elbow. From behind her, Hok'ee drifted towards the chandelure. Maybe there was some strange language among ghosts. But they were running out of time, and Mansi could already hear rustling in the shadows around them. Quickly, she slipped under the two ghosts and knelt by the girl's side. Ranger or not, that wound had to be treated immediately.

Anyone? :D
I've got one active thread with Saraia.
People to start threads with:
Jie-Rui
Ingrid
Am I missing anyone?
I think I'll just end up writing starters. Mansi isn't the person to go initiating meetings/conversations/relationships, though... hm.
Well, if anyone wants to RP, let me know~
I'm kind of bad at writing though so I need practice >_<
Heads up to Duality bros; this blog is NOT for Duality
Mansi's ask blog is here, so if you followed this one for Duality, go follow Mansi's because this one is my personal.
Unless you want to keep following this one, that's cool xD
But no Duality stuff (unless I post to the wrong blog again) will be on here. Although Mansi's blog is a sideblog so any personal questions will be from this one.
Peace,
- MM
Pleasantly surprised at the amount of tribal-based Rangers I found~
I was going through the apps when I found all these tribal Rangers and I thought to myself, Mansi's not going to be socially awkward forever! Yay!
SHE HAS FOUND HER BRETHREN
I am now twice as hopeful to be accepted as an official member and twice as eager for this entire OCT.
Woooooo~
Lost in the Woods
((Can't screenshot a reply to a question that's this long, so cut and paste it is. :'D))
AskMansi: The woods are different here, from her home in the north. To an ignorant outsider, both forests would hold no difference with each other. But to someone like Mansi, someone who has been raised with the trees and the wild, can instantly differentiate her woods from these woods. They look different, smell different, even feel different…
That did not prevent Mansi from being able to make her way around the forest. Same difference, she thinks to herself as she picks out familiar plants and landmarks, and gathers supplies for the night. For a moment, she stands quietly, at ease within the woods. Soyala, her deerling, grazes at her feet; Hok’ee the drifblim and Etchemin the lapras had stayed behind at her camp. The woods here are peaceful, she thinks, and she closes her eyes—
“Hey!”
Mansi opens an eye in annoyance. City folk? she mouths to herself warily. Soyala immediately jumps to attention, bristling.
Out of the brush stumbles a tall young woman, armed and dressed in clothes unfamiliar and strange to Mansi. A deino drags itself after her, clearly unwilling to move in the first place.
“You over there! Mind givin’ a poor lost warrior some directions?” the woman calls. “Name’s Saraia, in case ya were wonderin’.”
Mansi raises an eyebrow. City folk, indeed. But if she is a warrior… that means she is an ally. Mansi sighs.
“Directions? To where…?” she replies, straightforward as always. But even though this Saraia may be an ally, Mansi is still hesitant to give her name.
[[ asdjfk sorry late and long aghh. gotta go but I’ll be back within two hours >< ]]

((My reply:))
Saraia rubs the back of her head sheepishly, embarrassed. "Ah need directions back tah Castelia City. Managed to get mahself completely lost somehow." The Deino at her feet, who had been straring at the Ranger's Pokemon warily, glares up at his Trainer and hisses. She glares back at him. "Ah'm not an idiot Falk, just...directionally challenged."
She awkwardly brushes away some of the leaves and twigs stuck in her hair; then glances at Mansi. "Ah'm sorry fer the trouble, but ah could really use some help gettin' back. Would yeh mind givin' meh directions, or mebbe guidin' meh back? Either would do." Falk snorts derisively and returns to staring at the strange Pokemon.
