Since a lot of your old friends are beginning to post on their DC askblogs again, do you think you’ll join them? (Health issues permitting, I know you’ve not been well lately!) Have they asked you about it/joining them for another story arc?

It's hard to say. I'm not against it, just with how my health has been I haven't done really any writing at all for months. But I loved being Hatter and having an excuse to get to ramble about Carroll. [I started another painting during all my iron infusions, this time of the Walrus and the Carpenter. So the Alice books have been spilling out a lot accidentally lately. Some old habits are hard to quit, aha.]

That said, I hope people know that they are always free to take the Hatter mantel and attempt their own take for the mini askverse we created. It would be inconsiderate of me to say that the character is off limits, after all, when I haven't been around.

What if your partner already had kids? Like you enter a relationship with someone and they're already a parent?

You know, for a question that began with a claim not to care about my love life, there seems to be an awful lot of interest in the various hypothetical situations surrounding it.

Let me ask you, then, instead: what are you trying to get at, exactly? Are you trying to identify the precise set of circumstances in which I’d somehow find a paternal streak awaken deep within me?

I’ve been asked twice before, I’ve answered twice before, and made it perfectly clear where I stand. But just in case even those aren’t enough to drive a delicate point home, allow me to say it a third and final time: their children are their business, not mine.

Now, not to crib off of Tetch’s MO, but to quote Carroll: "I have answered three questions, and that is enough,"    Said his father; "don't give yourself airs! Do you think I can listen all day to such stuff?    Be off, or I'll kick you down stairs!"

I think the reason everyone is so concerned about your cards mr tetch is because lyle has gone a bit loco, yknow? Im just giving you a head up to be on the look out, because you and scarecrow are in his top 5 list.

Ah, yes... Mr. Bolton. I’m more than aware of that Jabberwock’s hypocritical habit of placing blame on those who have shared similar crimes with himself. Those who force fear and their control upon others, for example. Throwing that in which he despises about himself outward.

Pity him, my dears. For it must be a lonely existence to carry on that way.

....Also, I don’t see why I’m THIRD on his list. There are literal terrorists in this town, and he’s making ME out to be a bigger threat. Petty balderdash is what it is!

You need not worry about ME, Mister Wayne. Although the fact you are worried does well for the spirits, my good sir. I believe there's simply a mood permeating about the air today, is all. Perhaps dear Gotham will be graced with sunlight once more, and everyone will be cleared of it. I am, however, quite sorry to hear you've a bit under, Mister Wayne. For what it's worth, I'm sure Ms. Kyle meant nothing by it. We all know you're a frabjous man, and I never believe the bias the tabloids create.

Ahh… thank you, mister Tetch. I’m not mad at her, really, I’m more mad at myself for, you know. Making assumptions about the nature of our relationship, and… never having actually asked.
