I love that I’m ASMing a show for a director who is a total hack but beloved by the department. Also, I’m ASMing with basically no guidance on what that means for the department and I’ve also been responsible for SM duties that I shouldn’t have been. I love that these seniors are totally unprofessional and barely competent but still think that they’re going to get work professionally. I love not being invited to the cast party because these bitches are petty and don’t understand the theatre hierarchy because this department is fake.

The director for the production of Les Mis I'm working on just called. He wants to know how much earlier I can jump in for rehearsals. I am a lazy piece of shit and I just want to enjoy at least a week of my summer. Blaahhhhh. Why do I do this to myself? I apparently can't say no.
