I miss theatre
Retail workers see some weird shit and put up with lots of crap I know but you don't know pain, suffering and stress until you've worked as a techie, stage manager, director, and front of house all for the same show.

I love the fact that the techie babies at my former theatre department still treat me like their SM. I get a phone call at least like twice a week being like “I’m not gonna have the program in on time” or “costumes is fat shaming people again” and I’m just here like
Ok guys these are from Inherit the Wind 3 years ago (in high school) the last time I worked a show w/hanging panels (we had a fly system) these panels fell off of the baton while they were hanging, we spent a week putting them back together. I know the ones we’re using in Tartuffe wont fall since its steel and stuff but Im still terrified they’re going to fall. Its an irrational fear but still I’m so scared every time I see the panels hanging.
