Aspenlore Jesus and Judas (i used Jesus as painting practice but i drew Judas first and ended up not wanting to continue Judas further so thats why) co-written with @foronelittlekiss

I just drew these to get a better grip at how they look like and also to fit canon where Jesus has eyes like liquid gold in the sunlight and his skin is also like burnished brassy gold as a subtle cue to his divine nature

Aspenlore Judas in batik and a mix of Greek and Indonesian golds, thanks to @foronelittlekiss to let me do this hskfjs

We can just say they're a gift from a wealthy merchant follower of Jesus they got from the silk road trading its fiiiine don't think too hard about it

References:

I picked some Greek elements and Indonesian elements alike to blend here, like the meander pattern as Judas' chiton hem and the isen-isen batik pattern (gringsing motif i think?) as filler, and his wrap's hem is taken from mycenaean frescos while the batik is a kawung and truntum combo that respectively symbolise death rituals and eternal life with examples also pictured up there. The Greek jewelries are from the right time period but the Indo jewelries are admittedly way off in the timeline, but my blorbo my rules /silly.
