I am ashamed to ask this, but what is a honeypot mission? ,':^) ty
@serqket
So in Assassin’s Creed II, Ezio, his mother, and his sister, run brothels (prostitute houses) and you can use the women of the trade to aid you in your missions (as distractions or to hide from enemies). A Honeypot Mission is where you use seduction to gain someone’s trust for espionage (this is the best way I can explain it). So for example:
Assassin!McCree would use seduction (so make it look like he’s infatuated with the enemy) and then proceed to gather inside information on his victim and their organization/all their dealings. Now in my AU I’ve decided that after getting intimate with Assassin!Hanzo, Jesse ceases all honeypot missions and takes charge in running the brothel instead.
If you want a visual example of Honeypot Missions then the Assassin’s Creed II trailer shows a great one, Ezio uses the prostitutes to distract his enemies while he takes them out from the shadows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEEgo2ArQE4
