And what actually happens when someone ignores their natural placements

A lot of people ask what in their birth chart shows success, what shows fame, and what shows wealth - and it’s important to understand these are three very different things. Someone can be wealthy but totally unknown. Someone can be famous but struggling financially. Someone can be quietly successful without being either rich or popular. Astrology shows the difference pretty clearly once you know where to look.

Let’s break down each one in a way that feels clear, simple, and actually useful.

SUCCESS - the long-term type of achievement

Success in astrology is mostly tied to Saturn, the Midheaven (10th house), and the 6th house. These three areas describe work, discipline, responsibility, and how you build a reputation over time.

People with Saturn in the 10th house usually become successful through consistency and responsibility. They don’t peak early - their achievements come from proving themselves and building something solid. Careers with a lot of structure, pressure, or hierarchy tend to work well for them.

When the Sun is in the 10th house, the person naturally stands out in their career. They're recognized easily, noticed by others, and tend to gravitate toward leadership roles without thinking too much about it. People see what they do.

If someone has Mars on the Midheaven, they’re extremely driven. They push upward, take risks, and hate being stagnant. They thrive when they’re competing or building something on their own.

And this is something I always tell people when they’re struggling with this:

if you have to constantly push yourself to do something, it’s probably not aligned with you. But if you keep trying to talk yourself out of something you genuinely want to do, that’s usually the thing you actually need.

In astrology, resistance is often a sign of direction - your chart is already pulling you toward whatever fits your nature, and your excuses usually point to the exact area where your real growth is waiting.
