You brought your arms around to cup his face. Dongmin automatically levelled his tall frame to make himself more easily accessible. You followed the same path he did, twice on the forehead, once on each cheek. You leaned back to wait for his reply.

You shoved his shoulder slightly. “You’re impossible. Why do I even play these games with you? Nothing seems to bother you.”

I came back from a very tiring day and faced the same scene at home, yet again my parents were arguing. It’s not the first time it’s a routine now. I wish they would stop arguing together. I’m done, I’m beyond done with them. They didn’t even notice me entering the house. I ran to my room and slammed the door shut. We were fine at the past, a small beautiful family. I don’t know what happened to us to them. They worked all the time and once they are home they let out their anger at each other.

I don’t have any friends at school, my grades are getting worse. I don’t love myself how can i even love myself? I just know how to hate myself , how to hurt myself. I was getting sick and tired of everything i sat on my bed hopeless about my parents, about the friends that I’m not lucky to have, about my school, about my mental health. I’m hopeless about myself. I’m hurt, I’m always hurting but why can’t I get used to the pain? Tears started forming in my eyes. I closed my eyes and my ears and tried to ignore the cruel world.

I grabbed the pen knife, I brought the blade to my wrist and pressed it against my skin, all I saw was blood covering my wrist. One cut, two cuts, then I lose count.
