Do you have any advice for someone who wants to exercise and get stronger, but doesn't want to lose weight? I have very low weight for my body type and don't want to lose any more, but every single women's (and some men's) fitness is obsessed with burning calories and losing weight.
Best advice I can give: eat! Which is the opposite of what women's fitness tells you. But basically when you exercise you do exert energy and your body uses up resources it has stored to support you during this exercise, and afterwards spends time rebuilding and recovering to make you stronger (that's the soreness and tiredness you feel after working out). So you need to provide your body with the building blocks it's been using in the form of food.
Educate yourself on nutrition to make sure you're getting adequate protein, vitamins, and minerals and fiber in your diet (beans, legumes, nuts, diary, eggs, fish, meat, and poultry are all protein sources. If it's a plant it's got fiber and vitamins and minerals that are not necessarily found in meat so eat your fruits and veggies that you like and prepared in ways you like to eat, and some easy swaps for more fiber are to eat whole wheat/grain bread and whole rice instead of white bread and white rice). Also don't shy away from carbs like bread, noodles, and spaghetti since carbs are the unit of energy our cells prefer to use the most. (Tho Obviously if my advice contradicts something your doctor etc is telling you to help manage xyz health condition ignore this, as an example a high carb diet is not the best choice for people with diabetes)
Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full, as your body sends you these signals for a reason.
If you don't know what exercise you enjoy, spend some time trying things out to see what you like and what you don't like! Check out what's available in your area and start from there.
For strength, swimming, weight lifting, and martial arts are good areas to explore. Make sure you go to beginner everything, especially if you haven't done it before or if you have done it before but took a long break from it.

So that thing with tumblr....
Apparently there’s gonna be a purge or whatever and idk what counts and doesn’t count because tumblr is dumb as hell. So I know this blog would be ok, but irl about my main one, and if it goes I think they all go.
So if I do get deleted or whatever, should I just remake or do you guys know other blogging or just different sites I could do my dice and tarot thing on?
