Prison of Mirrors return with their new mini-album “De Sepulchris Occultis et Igne Profanationis”—a work that dips its hands into the filth of the sacred and corrupts it with its own blasphemous flame. A work that is dark, profound, suffocating, and all-encompassing: a sonic ritual that grants no respite and, like a slow-acting poison, wounds its listeners and consumes both their minds and senses. The new compositions follow the same desolate lines traced by the darkest Blut Aus Nord and Akhlys, yet retain the feverish, disintegrating identity of the band itself: guitars intertwining in whirls of dissonance, rhythms pulsing like subterranean impulses, voices rising from a nameless void. It is a journey into the core of a bottomless abyss, where each step pulls you deeper until nothing remains of former memories—only the faint echo of a shattered consciousness.
