Attack on Titan x Yokohama Royal Park Hotel ~Room Service Course Dinner~
This is the last of the Attack on Titan in Yokohama posts, I hope those following along could enjoy it! An evening room service Shingeki themed dinner course was included in the room plan we chose!
Let’s take a look at what is included in the “Dedicate Your Appetite! Attack on Titan Plate”menu!
Stewed beans eaten by Gabi and Falco served with human shaped croutons.
The meat the potato girl (Sasha Braus) bit served with steamed potatoes and the symbol of the founder Ymir represented by baked apples.
The pound cake made from the black tea that Captain Levi liked.
Niccolo’s recommended wine and grape juice.
Bread that resembles the snap blade. ( We were trying to figure out what this was and it finally hit us that it’s the blade the survey corps uses😆)
It was a delicious and fun dinner! I actually wish there was an option like this themed room and dinner for when USJ does it’s Cool Japan events!

Attack on Titan x Yokohama Royal Park Hotel ~Room Interior~
Right now there is a collaboration with the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel where guests can reserve a Shingeki themed room with the option of a room service course dinner. It was the Golden Week holiday so we wanted to do something but also wanted to avoid crowded places. So we booked the dinner course room with the plan to hit the Landmark Tower exhibit at opening and quickly completing the stamp rally before many people were out and about.
After a busy morning we were able to check in a little early. We received souvenir room keys with Eren and the Attack Titan and were told that there would be more souvenirs in the room. The collaboration rooms had the wings of freedom on the door!
When we walked in we noticed two things right away, one was a titan peeking at us next to the door!
The other thing was a floating Eren and Levi ahead of us and the curtain raising on it’s own to reveal the Colossal Titan at the window!
Above the bed there were more titans😆
On the table we found souvenir coasters and towels.
It was such a fun design for a room and we maybe played with the curtain a little too much with the bedside control panel as you can see in the link below!😅
Attack on Titan x Yokohama Royal Park Hotel
All in all it was a fun little get away with a really lovely view! The hotel and location were very nice and while it would have been nice to explore more and have fun in the area we can always come back another time once things are back to normal. There is so much to do in Yokohama so we are looking forward to that day!✨

Attack on Athletic Courses: Muscle Monster 2019
Posting swole EreWan I just realized I have had these photos from Muscle Monster in my drafts for such a long time and never got around to sharing them. Last last summer, it feels like so long ago now, the child and I trekked over to Lake Sagami Pleasure Forest to attempt the Muscle Monster Athletic Course and Shingeki collaboration. There was adventure and drama and fun and we could go outside normally!
It was pretty far for us, about 2 and a half hours travel time. So we got there a little later than we wanted too and arrived an hour or two after opening. It was quite a walk with many stairs to climb but we could see the attraction in the distance and pushed forward!
Of course we were excited to go shopping too! But! Almost all the goods were sold out except for cookies and the canvas boards! It was the first day and just a few hours into opening so understandably people were pretty angry about it. Luckily a really sweet person who was a friend of someone we knew was super kind and hooked us up with an Eren acrylic keychain.
After that we headed to the main attraction to meet with a friend and to do the course!
There were so fun photo spots outside!
The course itself was pretty challenging! Also in some points a bit scary because of the height and open air! But it was also so much fun and we enjoyed the different photo points you could print with Shingeki backgrounds after finishing the attraction.
After the attraction we went to the restaurant to enjoy the themed menu! You could receive coasters with the event design and a really nice plastic lunch mat as well!✨
The view was so beautiful both while doing the attraction and when walking around! It was all in all a really fun time!
Sky Tree Attack on Titan Popup Cafe and Shop 2020
From January 25th until February 21st there was an Attack on Titan popup cafe attached to the Tree Village Television Station Official Shop located in Solamachi.
This was a counter order style pop up with a small seating area. The dishes and pricing were alright with the desserts in particular having a fun design. The drink selection was quite nice with vibrant colors for the chilled drinks and the ability to choose the character you wanted for the hot drinks which were a choice of cafe latte, match latte or hot cocoa.
I ordered the quote omelette rice which had different quotes from the show!
I met with a friend who ordered the pasta and parfait!
Of course I had to order the two Eren drinks as well! The Eren’s Going to the Outside World drink was colorful with gelatin and soda.
I also had a cafe latte with Eren’s image✨
After trying the menu we did a bit of shopping! There was a display of recently released goods that had been sold at Kiddyland and which were being offered again at the sky tree shop. There was also a section for Final Exhibit merch available at this location for the duration of the event.
I was excited to pick up some things that I had missed purchasing since I had been on a trip to Universal Studious Japan. The Eren tea had really cute packaging!
It was also a chance to pick up the acrylic figure which was available in a few sizes
All in all it was a simple but nice event that was fun to attend!
Attack on Universal Studios Japan 2020 Clonoids and Theming
This year to experience and take photos with the Clonoids you had to purchase one of the set menu options at the Survey Corps Mess Hall. Last years clonoids were available as a photo op with the purchase of express pass only. This year you can get a ticket to take a picture with the Clonoids when you purchase a set meal at the Survey Corps Mess Hall. So for people visiting from overseas this makes it much easier! However you are limited to one photo op photograph and one personal photograph this time. One last important point is take note of the line cut time when you get your ticket which is before the restaurant closing time.
Being limited to one photo is tricky! I took one safe photo and one fun photo. The crew said Levi is irritated that Hanji spilled their drink in their excitement😆
The decorations were a nice detail in the restaurant so here are some close up photos.
In the next update we will take a look at merch and snacks!

Attack on Universal Studios Japan 2020 XR Attraction
What’s this?! An update?? Cool Japan 2020 includes Attack on Titan, Detective Conan, Lupin the 3rd and Monster Hunter. The Shingeki portion this year includes a VR coaster experience, a restaurant themed to the survey corps mess hall featuring a special menu and clonoids of Levi and Hanji, an Eren themed churrito snack and Makasa Ackerman-man (red steamed bun) and of course limited merch. I actually went a day before the event start to try to catch the attraction soft opening and to go shopping since usually merch is sold from the day before the event starts. If anyone else is interested soft openings do sometimes happen but for short amounts of time from up to a few days before and are not guaranteed, the restaurant this time did not have a soft opening most likely due to the clonoids.
Let’s talk about this VR attraction! In the past we have ridden a couple of different versions of this style of attraction including Evangelion and Lupin the 3rd and it’s a really interesting system because it combines VR with the movement of an actual indoor coaster. This version is hands down my favorite and not just because it’s Shingeki. The idea is fun and interesting and by the end in the final battle you really feel like you are flying on 3dmg.
Once you are in line there are videos explaining the attraction and a photo opportunity. Before entering the building Armin, Hange, Mikasa and Eren give you a briefing on the mission with a brief visit from Levi. Titans have suddenly appeared and people are evacuating on horse drawn carts to Wall Rose with the Survey Corps protection. Hange has developed special goggles to use and they are very excited that you will get to try them! You must first take a elevator underground to the evacuation area.
Before boarding the vehicle you will be given a guide available multiple languages on how to board and wear the goggles. A crew member will also demonstrate.
There are also instructions played on video as well that match the information for public disclosure notices on the show.
Currently this attraction has the highest wait time in the park by far so if possible I highly recommend using Express Pass. There are times when the standby and single rider queue wait time do not have and much difference so it’s not possible to rely on single rider to cut the wait time.
If you have any questions or comments please let me know! There are more updates including dining and clonoids and merch!✨

Attack on Titan x LABO Collabo Cafe Honpo
Collabo Cafe Honpo is a different kind of cafe. There is no food or drinks served, at least not which people can eat. This is a cafe for toys! We made our reservation for the first day of the event which has two parts and waited in the smalll lobby to be taken downstairs.
Walking in we could see a display of acrylic stands available for purchase. You could purchase the complete set or buy them as blind bags. Above those acrylic figures were the coasters you could get with your food or drink order. So while you cannot take eat or take the food or drink home you do get the novelty coaster.
Each table has a mini display with furniture you can arrange to take photos of your plush or toys. So you can arrange the scene as you like. The space is a bit tight but there is a basket underneath the table to put your bags and coats. Because of the limited space it helps to be organized.
Once you are seated the staff will explain how the cafe works and will take your order. Aside from the acrylic character stands you could also purchase little drinks with the characters on top which you could take home. These are limited to one per person and all have the same design unlike the character drinks you can order for your toys which come in many colors and designs.
The drinks pictured above are the ones you can take home and pictured below are the ones you play with in the cafe.
There is a time limit and the staff will let you know when it’s last order so it’s important to watch the time.
Once your order arrives it’s time to have fun!
There is even mini cutlery!😆
Some of the dishes have movable parts like this cracker.
Of course it wouldn’t be a Shingeki cafe event without potatoes!😅🥔 So what do you think? Would you go to a cafe for your toys?
