And just like that my roses have started to bloom! First one this year is ‘Souvenir de la Malmaison’ a Bourbon Rose of unmatched beauty. Her soft powdery pink color gets me every time. My rose is only one year old and therefore still small, but I hope I will see plenty of blooms from her this season. Thursday, the first day after my second shot of my Moderna vaccine I spend most of the time in bed with flue like symptoms, yesterday I still felt quite a lack of energy but I hope today I am back to normal and can get to work in the garden, again.
