Sick whilst neurodivergent

I hate being sick i hate being sick i hate being sick

I feel like everyone else gets a cold and they can just like... continue going about their day and getting stuff done and then when I get a cold

my executive functioning becomes nonexistent

my sensory issues are so much worse

i have absolutely zero energy at all

my brain can't process information

and more

but everyone makes it sound like when you have a cold you should just continue about your day. and I cant

YEARS AGO I worked at a convenience store and at my particular counter we had a stash of manufacturers coupons to apply to whatever a customer had brought up and one time this older country gentleman walked up with a clearanced bottle of mouthwash and I had a coupon that knocked it further down to $1.03 he handed me the dollar and 3 pennies..... and the screen said he had exactly one reward dollar off and said to use it so I handed him the dollar back and he was DELIGHTFULLY BAFFLED that he suddenly wittled down his purchase to 3 cents and I literally am thinking about this interaction from ten years ago at 6 am

(And yet I can't remember what I've done today or the last month but whateverrrrr)
