Last Round Audition Lines

Please read this first: I learned from the previous round of auditions to put a little context into the audition lines, so I’m going to be posting a small “scene” with the characters lines and bold the character and the lines that the audition is open for. If it gets confusing, send me an ask or something asking to clarify and what you want clarified specifically. I also want to make this absolutely clear. Everything here has been taken out of context and some characters have more lines then others. That’s just how it worked out honestly. As good as I am at writing, it’s hard to give everyone an equal amount of lines while still keeping them in character. Though, for sure, there will be plenty of lines for everyone to voice during the characters respective routes. Thank you for your understanding.

KANAYA: Hello. It's nice to meet you.  I’m Kanaya Maryam. I'm a Jade blood troll. PLAYER: Jade-blooded? I think you're the first person who told me their blood color. KANAYA: There are few of us who still care about the hemospectrum. I've just gotten into the habit of telling people my blood color. PLAYER: Who still cares about it? KANAYA: Eridan for one. Equius is another.  Honestly, I think they're the only ones left.

FEFERI: I guess if everyone is giving their opinions, I might as well speak up. I think she seems nice. I had a conversation with her before before the humans started swarming her. She likes fish. NEPETA: (Nepeta spoke up, ignoring Tavros and Vriska)Did you find out if Player likes cats, Fefurri? FEFERI: That didn't come up in the conversation. I'm sorry.  (Dif scene) FEFERI: Oh, hello. (smiles) It's nice to see you again. I'm Feferi Peixes, just to refresh your memory.  PLAYER: It's nice to meet you too.  ERIDAN: So why exactly are you here? DAVE: I thought I told you. I'm having her talk to everyone.  ERIDAN: But why does that include me?  FEFERI: Be nice, -Eridan.  ERIDAN: I don't see why I have to be. DAVE: Ooooh-kay. I think we should move on now. Come on. Eridan is obviously in a piss poor mood.  PLAYER: Ah... yeah. It was nice to see you Feferi.  FEFERI: It was nice to see you too! I'm sorry we didn't get to talk too much!

NEPETA: Hey, Dave! Whats mew? DAVE: Not much. Just thought I would bring Player here to introduce them to you. NEPETA: Cool! I finally get to meet them?  DAVE: Yeah. Introduce yourself.  NEPETA: (She looked at me.)Hello! I'm Nepeta Leijon! It's nice to meet mew. (She smiled)This is my meowrail, Equius.  EQUIUS: Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'm Equius Zahhak.  PLAYER: Um, hello. It's nice to meet you too. (I looked at Nepeta)Are you talking with cat puns?  NEPETA: Yes! I'm so glad you noticed! I use them beclaws I love cats. My lusus was a cat! I think they're just purrfect. PLAYER: They are pretty fun. Are you the only one who talks in puns NEPETA: No. Fefuri stalks in fish puns. Ampurra does to, but only when he talks to Fefuri and sometimes not even then. Have you talked to them yet?   

DAVE:  Hey, Tavros, why are you just hanging out here by yourself? TAVROS: No reason. I don't really know who to talk to. DAVE: I thought you and Jake hit it off pretty nicely. Why not talk to him? TAVROS: He's talking to Jane and Roxy. I uh... don't wanna get in the way. DAVE: Oh. Well I brought, someone here,. Talk to them for a bit. Introduce yourself or something. TAVROS: Uh... Ok. (he looked at me) Hey. I'm uh... Tavros Nitram. PLAYER: It's nice to meet you, Tavros. Are you sure you're okay by yourself? TAVROS: Yeah. I mean, I'm uhhh... used this this stuff I guess. Even in the Outer Ring I was never really a social butterfly. PLAYER: Outer Ring? DAVE: (Dave frowned) Nothing you need to worry about right now. PLAYER: Uh huh. TAVROS: Anyway I uhh... guess the point is that I'm used to this so I'm ok. PLAYER: You know there is no rule that you have to be. TAVROS: (he shrugged) I've had worse on Alternia. I'm ok. You don't need to worry about me.

JANE: And then when we got back from the store I forgot that to get the frosting for the cake!! JAKE: Yeah, she sent be back to go get it instead while she set up the oven up and all that. ROXY: Why didn't you just make a list for the stuff you needed instead? JANE: I forgot about it entirely. I thought I already had all of the things at home. It wasn't until i opened up the cabinet that I realized that we didn't have any.

Vriska

VRISKA: What? Joke wants to talk to the new kid? That's hilarious. As if they'll give you the time of day. ROXY: Hey! Don't say that about my friend. JANE: And his name is Jake! With an A! JAKE: Just forget about it. She won't remember my name. Not that it matters. VRISKA: Oh so the Page has finally accepted that they will never be as good as me? JAKE: Quite the opposite actually. I just don't care anymore. PLAYER: Um... Spider eyes? Do you really have to be such a jerk to him? VRISKA: (raises an eyebrow at Player) Well aren't you the brave one. (laughs) I can do what I want, honestly. If people don't like it, they don't have to stick around. (sneers) Oh, any by the way, newbie, my name is Vriska, Vriska Serket. Remember it.

Rose

ROSE: Is that a new design you have there? KANAYA: Yeah. I just finished it earlier today. DAVE: (appears behind Kanaya) Oh, can I see? KANAYA: (jumps) Dave! Didn't anyone tell you not to sneak up on people like that? DAVE: (shrugs) Sorry, bad habit. ROSE: You and you're brother are the same. Neither of you make the slightest sound when you walk. DAVE: It's just the noise of the party ROSE: (Rolls her eyes) So what do you want? DAVE: I'm walking Player around and having them talk to everyone. ROSE: That's very princely of you, Dave. Seems more of you're brothers area of expertise. DAVE: Knights can walk damsels around parties, too, ya know. PLAYER: Princes, knights? Guys what do you mean by that? ROSE: Nothing you need to worry about, Player. Not yet anyway. It's nice to meet you. I'm Rose Lalonde. You already met my mo-sister Roxy.

Jade 

JADE: (Smiles): Hey! It's nice to meet you! PLAYER: Likewise. Um... I have a question if you don't mind me asking. JADE: (tilts her head): What is it? PLAYER: Um... why do you have dog ears? JADE: (blinks a few times): Oh yeah right. I almost forgot about them. It's been a while, hasn't it Dave. DAVE: Yeah. A little more then three years. Fun times. JADE: Good memories. (to Player) It's a long and involved story. I'm sure if you stick around with Dave, he'll tell you about it when the time is right. PLAYER: Ooohh-kay then. Well it was nice to meet you. JADE: Nice to meet you too.

Aradia

ARADIA: (to Player) While those two are bickering, I'm Aradia Megido. It's nice to meet you. PLAYER: Well, Dave already said my name, but I'm Player. Likewise. ARADIA: (smiles) So how to you like the party? PLAYER: It's pretty all right so far. I haven't been able to do much other then talk to Dave and the people he's introduced me to so far. ARADIA: Well good. I'm still not completely clear about the kinds of parties you humans, enjoy, but I thought a corpse party wouldn't be much fun if there weren't any dead bodies, so this was the next best thing. PLAYER: A corpse party? ARADIA: You know, a party where you celebrate the dead and have a lot of dead bodies. PLAYER: I think you mean a funeral. It's not exactly a "party"

Gamzee

GAMZEE: Oh, Dave, bro. I didn't know you'd be in here. DAVE: (sighs) Hey, Gamzee. What do you need? GAMZEE: Was just wondering if you had any Faygo all up in here. Brothers gotta stay hydrated. DAVE: Check for yourself, but before you do, since you're here, you might as well introduce yourself to Player, here. GAMZEE: (looks to see Player standing by the fridge) Oh, hey there. I'm Gamzee Makara. Nice to meet you.

Terezi

TEREZI: How many people have you met so far? PLAYER: 13 people so far TEREZI: Then John and I make 15. You smell like an honest person. I like you. I'm Terezi Pyrope. PLAYER: Smell? TEREZI: (leans in and sniffs Player) Yeah. Spell. I'm blind. Tragic *accident* back on Alternia. (shrug) I use taste and smell to get around. PLAYER: Taste? TEREZI: Hehehehehahahaha. Do you really wanna know? DAVE: Don't lick her, Tez, that's weird. Get to know her better first. TEREZI: Aw come on. She asked. I was just going to show her what I meant. JOHN: Dave's right, Terezi. No need to freak her out when she first meets you. TEREZI: (sighs) Fine, fine. Anyway, It was nice to meet you, Player

Equius

EQUIUS: Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'm Equius Zahhak. PLAYER: Um, hello. It's nice to meet you too. (looks at Nepeta) Are you talking with cat puns? NEPETA: Yes! I'm so glad you noticed! Miranda Jones

Lines for Disciple!

My dearrest signless, I will nefurr furrget you. To do so would be impawssible. You arre my matesprrite, my meowrrail and so much morre. Furr you I would take down the stars from the skies. Furr you I would destrroy the moons. I would trraverrse the worrld furr you a thousand times and then a thousand times morre. 

This is a short blurb that I wrote for one of the Disciple auditioners and I think it's only fair that I post it for all people who want to audition for the disciple to use.If this is all you're using for the audition I advise multiple takes with different levels of feline and emotion so I can see how far you can take this voice in any direction and how far you can pull it back.
