I'm not the type to post about my emotions/ get super melodramatic about how those emotions are affecting me BUT I fucking hate this feeling of being completely stuck in a world where I log on to any social media platform and I see every/any second of my buddies who have gotten out of SP. The worst is feeling overwhelmed with anger/resentment for a fellow actor who worked his ass off to get into his theatre program, and knowing that those negative feelings are just a reflection of how I'm viewing myself.

Hey!!! I'm auditioning for Shrek soon and would KILL to be Fiona. What would you reccomend to sing?

On My Way from Violet - Both Sutton Foster being amazing, and Violet isn’t that popular even though it just closed on Broadway last 2 months ago.

Life I Never Led from Sister Act - just a really good song thats impressive vocally. Add to your book

A lot of people sing Shy from Once Upon a Mattress for this character, but it’s overdone. I would recommend Happily Ever After from OUAM though. Never done and really great!

Fiona is super bipolar and something from Last 5 Years would be great, if your audition is acapella, or you know your pianist well and they can do Jason Robert Brown. Climbing Uphill is SO funny and great for Fiona. This is my personal pick.
