Aura au! How does the confrontation with todoroki go down?
It goes similarly to canon, but Izuku also shares his scars to Shoto. at this point the only people Izuku has shown his scars to are Kendo and Ojiro. So Shoto is the first classmate to be allowed to fully see the extent of damage done to his face.
and if Todoroki lets Izuku touch his scar so the other boy can actually 'see' his scar after their fight then whose to say.
Some of the stuff @floralflowerpower has today about ghost body language is reminding me about the vague AU I have where a ghost's aura is a semi-tangible filter/sensory organ that they use to absorb ectoplasm and emotional energy.
Flaring the aura can be either a sign that you feel comfortable in a place (ie, 'this place is safe and I can eat/make myself vulnerable/be visible without feeling worried') or a show of aggression (ie, 'I'm about to launch a big attack, so I'm absorbing more energy to prepare for that') depending on how you do it. Reeling in your aura can indicate distrust ('I don't trust you not to poison me, and I don't want my aura to show you my mood') or respect ('I'm not feeding on things in your territory') or fear ('I'm hiding'). Meanwhile, extending your aura while preventing it from absorbing anything, or while making it tangible, is a sign of submission. Brightness, color, and how much the individual filaments of the aura are moving can also mean things.
The aura is made out little threads and they can grab onto things like sea anemone tentacles. They tend to slightly reach towards large sources of energy or towards things the ghost likes.
Younger and newer ghosts tend to have less direct control of their auras.
Danny both forgets that he has an aura when he's a ghost and that he doesn't have an aura when he's human. He's a mess. (Ghosts: Why are you overexaggerating your body language so much? Humans: Why are you just. Standing still and staring at us?)
incorrect quotes but it's flo's new au

Doc: Your breast reduction was a success!
Deimos: Thanks! Where's Sanford?
Doc: Who do you think took your boobs?
~~~~
Tricky: How am I supposed to live, laugh, love in these conditions?
~~~~
Deimos: Why does Tricky call you Babygirl?
Doc: We should stop talking for a while.
~~~~
Auditor: Jebby, you good?
Jeb: No!
Auditor: Okay, cool, just checking.
~~~~
Hank: FUCK THIS GAY PHONE!
Auditor: Don't fuck the gay phone?
Hank: Fuck you, I do what I want.
~~~~
Deimos: So how long does it take to get over your own death? A few hours? Days?
~~~~
Hank, listening to Deimos's eulougy: Wow! I love this story!
~~~~
Tricky: Don't stress, it's bad for the baby.
Doc: The what?
Day 5!
I had some trouble what to draw with his prompt. So I present you AURA AU.
A few weeks after Ultimate Enemy Danny started to see color blobs around people. It faded after seconds, so Danny wasn't worried... Until the blobs didn't fade and it started to interfere with his life.
International Aura Awareness Day & It’s Letter Writing Day & Make Your Own Head Day
Person A has always been able to see auras, their specialty being able to pinpoint people’s flaws, which tends to make them judgmental and wary of others. One day, Person A gets a pen pal relationship, and since they can’t see their partner, Person B’s, aura, they start actually being able to enjoy and like their company, but becomes scared of actually meeting Person B and finding some tragic flaw. But the more they talk, the more Person A comes to discover Person B’s flaws naturally, and sometimes Person B admits openly to them, and Person B wants to meet Person A.
Hey, it's been a while. Medical issues suck, what can I say. Have some IzuUra friendship from the aura au.
"What happened with your parents?" Izuku asks, sitting beside Ochako and pressing his shoulder to hers. The murky red-gray of pain and sadness rolling off of her is a familiar one, wrapped in shades of grass green and peach that he knows is her love for her family. She's not crying -- she doesn't even look that upset -- but if there's one thing Izuku has learned, it's that auras never lie.
His friend looks at him, wide-eyed, and that's when Izuku realizes that he's made a mistake.
"How did you know something happened with my parents?"
"You look sad," Izuku replies, trying to backpedal desperately. He must look alarmed, and guilty -- he never could hide his emotions -- because chestnut-brown eyes narrow, and Ochako grabs his sleeve before he can bolt.
"You know, Deku, this isn't the first time you've done something like this; blurted out when something was wrong without being told, I mean. How are you always so good at that?"
"You told me, remember?" he scrambles, wincing when she only looks more suspicious. "You, ah, you said you were going to call them... earlier..."
"No, I didn't." She tugs at his sleeve a little harder. "It was a surprise call. Is it, like, part of your Quirk? Why didn't you say something earlier?"
"Because..." Izuku sighs, curling his shoulders to make himself look smaller. "Because it's not a Quirk. It's not even considered a mutation."
Ochako frowns. "What is it, then?"
"The doctor said it was something chemical in my brain; that part of it was saturated heavily with an influx of chemicals before I was born, and that's why it happens. It didn't really make sense, but I think they were trying to just throw a diagnosis at me to make themselves feel better."
Ochako nudges him with her elbow gently. "So... what does that mean, exactly?"
"I can see a person's emotions," he admits quietly, twisting the hem of his shirt with nervous fingers. "I see them as colors. The stronger the emotion, the richer the color."
After a moment, Ochako lets go of his shirt, and he braces himself. "That's amazing," she breathes; she gives him a wide, affectionate smile. "You're so incredible, Deku. Will you tell me more about it? I want to learn everything. If you're willing to share, that is. Don't feel pressured!"
Relieved, Izuku hugs her. "I don't," he promises against her shoulder. "I don't, it's okay, just... Thank you, Ochako."
"Why are you thanking me?" She hugs him back regardless, petting through his curls. Tendrils of soft rose-pink and lavender tickle at his nose, and he smiles at her when he leans back.
"For accepting me."
"Oh, Deku." She cups his face and kisses his forehead, and somehow, it doesn't feel awkward at all. "Of course I'm going to accept you. There's nothing wrong with you."
Aura AU:
Kiyotaka is able to see auras which helps him sense peoples true feelings and emotions. So when he senses Mondo’s aura changing to something more worrying like guilt and anxiety he’s determined to help in anyway he can.
