Tips to get your beauty sleep

Establish a regular bedtime routine Wind down so you're ready to hit the sack between 9 and 11pm. Brush your teeth, don the PJ's, read a book. Rise at the same time every day, even if you've had a bad night. Switch off, literally Studies show that artificial light, and computer and TV screens, may inhibit the body's production of melatonin, making it harder to fall asleep. Get 20 minutes if sunlight first thing Sleep specialises reckon this is the best way to reset your circadian clock if you're suffering from insomnia. Exercise at the same time for double the benefit. Eat more during daylight hours And less at night. Work with your biochemical rhythm, increasing your ability to digest and metabolise food. You'll experience fewer cravings late in the evening. Avoid alcohol after 9pm You might think it helps you relax into some "me time", but alcohol can disturb sleep patterns. The 18/21 rule

If you have 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, try to eat alkalising, whole produce for 18 meals in a week. This means you can have one free day a week. This equates to 85% healthy and 15% to have to indulge in things outside your norm

Some rules I'll be following during my detox/shift to healthy eating

- 50% raw food daily - water water water - daily baths in Epsom salts - regular daily sunshine - regular yoga - actively practicing positivity - aiming to declutter my life by decluttering my space - bike trail riding and running (I've been researching this something fierce!!) - organic eating - practicing the 18/21 rule
