I have no idea when my neighborhood market got Violet Crumble bars in-stock, but while getting some movie-style candy to take to my folks for holiday movie action, I found them lurking behind a post right where candy segues into baking supplies.
If you have never heard of a Violet Crumble before, it was invented in Australia in 1913, and is the origin of chocolate-covered seafoam/honeycomb candy.
Normally I have to haul my kishkes downtown to the international district or to a tourist-zone-situated candy store to acquire this form of sugar, so I’ll probably put a small dent in what they have.
@sunsetsrmydreams I'm addicted! I finally know what they are! Thank you @justajjfan 🧡🧡🧡
