why did I think writing a romance subplot was a achievable thing? 

I just wrote “ya like card tricks” as an opener for my character to ‘slyly’ find out the name of the cute guy who just wants help with his chemistry homework.

I love how some parts of a story are meticulously planned out. 

And then sometimes the main character’s hometown isn’t surrounded by a wall because saying that the fences beside the gate ended abruptly, allowing the farmland to spill into the outskirts of the metropolis just sounded really cool, and you’ll be damned if you ever need the town to be attacked later on, but the perfection of that one descriptive sentence was worth it.

I love writing. Thing is just to write fanfiction, I gotta be in the mood. I was able to publish once a week on fanfiction.net because I was a student and I took Tuesday nights to write and Wednesday nights to proof read. Thursday was publishing day. Now matter what. I aced my finals btw.

But ever since finishing school I have been struggling. I've taken up work as a journalist and when you are writing all day, you really don't feel like writing in the evenings too. Combine that with changed life circumstances (I have friends now!!!) and a new living situation and boom.

I am still creative. I still create elaborate stories in my head. I am currently curating a thousands of words long fanfiction across multiple millennia. While keeping my existing stories in mind.

But writing? That's hard.

I have thought about dictating my stories. But then I need to go back and edit and get everything in order.

I just wish you he juices would flow again like they used to. Good old times.

Anyways. Tolkien elves in polyamorous relationships. Let's have some fun.
