Today at Pemberley, The 29th of October:

The weather turned unseasonably warm with the sun shining bright on to the grounds. Deciding to take advantage of the cozy atmosphere, Mrs. Elizabeth Darcy and Mrs. Jane Bingley planned a picnic, taking with them only food, wine and their husbands.

The sisters and the friends as close as brothers have rarely had the opportunity to keep each others’ company in idle talk. The last few weeks have been taken up so completely with planning and hosting.

The talk turned to gossip about recent events. Mrs. Elizabeth Darcy and Mrs. Jane Bingley eagerly produced reasons as to why Miss Caroline Bingley and Col. Fitzwilliam were a perfect match. Perhaps their courtship had a difficult start, but the sisters laughed at such difficulties, their own courtships having been anything but smooth.

Mr. Bingley was heard to ask, “Are they courting? I thought they disliked each other?” Which earned him blank stares from the Darcys and a sympathetic pat on the arm from his own wife.

My harvest ! I'm really pleased with this !!

also while i was in the garden mulching the tomato plot i look up to check how the pumpking was doing and there were TWO pumpkins.

Real world duplication glitch. nature truly is beautiful.

The second pumpkin needs to ripen a bit but this one is just fine. Bit cracked from the drought / big rains tho but i love it anyway. Yipee !!
