Tired eyes shine because of the people in my life. The community of friends and family that I have around me give me the support I need when I think to myself, “I just can’t do this anymore”. Ever felt like that??! Fighting autoimmune diseases is HARD, and there are days that my autoimmune wins triumphantly. But... BC of the community around me, always there to listen, to prop me up, or to remind me that I CAN do this...and it’s worth doing... my autoimmune will NEVER win the war. I took today off to SLEEP and rest. It’s going to be tough Bc I’m a doer, but today I will rest my body and mind so tomorrow I can do ALL the things I need to do. It's been a rough weekend mentally. I've been exhausted from work and being on my feet a lot so I really took it easy this weekend. But... I have GOALS and a lot I want to accomplish. I tend to be really hard on myself and right now that's where I am at. In fact, the little devil on my left shoulder is questioning whether or not I can EVER accomplish my goals. He's reminding me how I dream big dreams but my body doesn't like to cooperate and maybe I should just give up 😞. EVER felt like this?? What did you do?? ***************************************** Luckily for me, these days I have a whole arsenal in my tool belt to help me with these thoughts and feelings. First thing I go to?? The angel on my right shoulder that reminds me HOW much I have overcome, HOW many victories I have had, and HOW much more I have to give! That angel reminds me... Faith over fear, Dear. And a special quote from an amazing man, MLK Jr., "You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.". 💥My first step today to start off my week right?! But domain name, setup email. That's it... but it's a stay and a small victory! Faith!
