as a creator my art for me is my failed attempt to transcribe whatever I've felt within the realms of my heart, it is giving form to those emotions trapped within. But I've never really managed to express the absolute of what I’ve felt, I've always ended up shy. But, when I look back at that piece of poetry, painting, or photograph it takes me back to that moment.
as an audience when I look at a work of art, be it a poem, a painting, or a photograph and for a moment I feel my heart stumble and I'm forced to stop and revel in its beauty, and slowly I start to fall in love with it.
I think when you fall in love with a work of art, you are actually falling in love with a part of yourself that you never knew existed! marveling at the beauty of the words, looking at photographs, and feeling as if something within you has been photographed.
To sink in its beauty and let it touch us in ways we’ve never been touched before and to lose oneself somewhere in a parallel reality and to be moved.
