I have a little headcanon a year in the road where something happened with Azula, let’s say she almost got caught or was moments away from dying and her hair got stuck or gripped and at the moment she didn’t care and cut it and honestly was pretty upset for awhile until she acknowledges that it was either short hair or death/prison/ aslumy etc…
But that’s not for a long while!!!!
