My new rock, unpolished azurite-malachite! It is good for emotional healing and psychic ability.

Don’t lick it though. Malachite is toxic.

Do you have any gems low in the mohs scale?

I currently only have seven if them, all lower than 4 on the Mohs scale as I understand what "low" means in the World if the Lustrous.

Orpiment is the lowest at 1.5 but that isn't stopping then anytime soon.

Sulfur and Vivianite are 2s, and with similar bad personalities. They aren't great together so generally they tend to avoid being with the other.

Mimetite is extremely lazy and very old so they aren't seen as much as any others. Getting them to do anything is a Herculean task. They are currently sporting a very, very early version of the Autumn uniform.

Gold isn't quite as lazy but they are extremely recalcitrant to any activities. They are also very heavy so they don't tend to go around a lot.

Azurite-Malachite and Astrophylite are of 3.5 and generally seen doing menial tasks around the island. They bicker from time to time but generally are of good company.

A Proper Ritual!

I’ve been hesitant for a while to try it, since I didn’t really know how, but after reading about it in a book, I cast my first circle for a spell today! I also did a tarot divination beforehand to make sure it was the right time to cast the spell. 

My friend had surgery for appendicitis, so I wanted to cast a spell that would help him. I brought representations of the four elements into the circle: sage incense, a white candle, a small bowl of water, and my azurite-malachite. I charged each one and visualized the desired result, before drawing the circle!

Here’s a helpful tip I learned about for circles: if for any reason you need to leave, draw a rectangular shape at the edge of the circle and visualize a door appearing, opening it to leave and closing it behind you then and when you return to the circle.

I also took some notes on how the candle behaved. The flame burned very high, and it caused wax to pour over the sides of the holder. I take that to mean that there was an abundance of energy and success!

Also, at the end, I made sure to release the circle and thank the elementals for their help. Oh, and I also channeled the Raven totem a bit!

Azurite is nihilistic and melancholy. They don’t like being in the eyes of the public because they think that they’re going to be laughed or gawked at, and they know that isn’t normal. They think the situation they’re in is the worst that could happen to them, and wish they could separate - though they know that they and Malachite would end up together again. Do you have some ability suggestions for azurmalachite?

As azurmalachite is the obvious combination of both azurite and malachite and they are both copper minerals, metal manipulation could be one suggestion. It is supposedly a great conductor of energy so they could either have an electrical ability (like lightning manipulation) or energy ability. With the energy ability, they could give themselves or others a power upgrade for a short time. They may also add or take away energy from other beings. It’s said to enhance and perform visualizations as well has help clear blockages in the mind. They could have an illusion ability, mind reading, or a kind of hypnosis power. Lastly, the gem promotes inner transformation so they may be able to manipulate almost any object and shape it into whatever they want.
