The last of the SuperBowl LX's DRAGO flight. The other B-1B Lancer or "BONE" conducting a high speed flyover in afterburner with the wings swept back. It was arguably the most exciting aircraft in the entire flyover of this incredible game.

In Operation Epic Fury (started Feb 28, 2026), the U.S. bomber triad—B-52, B-1B, and B-2—is dismantling Iranian military infrastructure.

I have just learned that the B-1 Lancer is going to be retired in 2025, expected to fully exit service circa 2036.

If anyone needs me, I'm going to be drowning myself in my tears, while I scream about the injustice of the B1 leaving service before the A-10.
