My to-read shelf (or, if I’m honest, my to-read three-shelf book cart) has gotten out of control. All the beautiful recommendations, gifts, review copies, pile up so fast! And, more importantly, there are a bunch of books that have been sitting for months or years, waiting for my attention. It’s time to get these piles back down to a reasonable out-of-control size, and focus on the backlist.
So for the next three months (Sept/Oct/Nov), I will be backlist only (with the exemptions of books I’m assigned to review, so don’t come for me!). Each month, I’ll try to mix it up with relatively newer acquisitions and older picks that have been very patient. Wish me luck! Track my progress in instagram stories! And if you see me going into my local indies, pray that I have the strength to make good choices!
