𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒚❟ 𝑯𝒂𝒍𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒚!

One year ago today, on September 1st, 2018, Mudpie’s cousin Halfred and sweet Miss Morley were married. The two had been inseparable since they met and all the members of The Roots & ‘Shrooms Gang had hoped they would find love together. Their wedding was a big affair, with all the members of the Gang and many other friends coming together to make Halfred and Morley’s special day perfect for them. Since that day, these two young rootlings in love have never been far from each other. One of their favorite hobbies? Backpacking! They both love nature, hiking, and getting exercise in the warm sun and fresh air. So, that was how they decided to spend their anniversary, strolling through the backyard and taking in all the sights to see. There was much giggling, little hugs, happy kisses, and whispered words as these two enjoyed both nature and their company. Let’s all congratulate these two special rootlings on their first successful year of wedded bliss and wish them many, many more!

I found the lovely backpacking couple, Morley and Halfred, out in the garden today, admiring this stained glass peacock. They thought it was so pretty, especially combined with the sunflower stepping stone, that they asked me to snap a few pictures. I think Morley is looking to put together a “first year of marriage” photo album. =)

Halfred thought this black-eyed susan flower matched his Minions backpack perfectly, while Morley admired the lush greenery of the garden. Summer may be around for another two weeks or so, but Fall is coming soon, so these roots are enjoying these last few days of Summer while they can. ^_^

Newlyweds Morley and Halfred ventured out on this hot scorcher of a day to have their first couples backpacking adventure! I saw the tiny roots off as they donned their backpacks and sunglasses, with Morley wearing her stylish purple shades in her favorite color and Halfred sporting his brand new Minions backpack. Yes, Halfred is a Minions fan. Most of the Roots & ‘Shrooms Gang are. XD Let’s wish these two young roots in love lots of luck and fun on their day out! =)
