Working on some rolls and flips. There’s this little hip pop that it helps to do when doing a backwards roll (e.g. if you get thrown and need to recover) that helps to keep you from slamming your upper back into the floor and knocking the wind out of yourself since it rounds out your spine to receive the ground better. Was experimenting with that today.
