I LOOOOVED these breakfast sandwiches from @thebrekkyclub, I’m so annoyed that I didn’t know about them sooner. There’s 3 available and we tried 2; TBC Breakfast Burger. Sausage patty, crispy smoky bacon, egg, cheese, ketchup, plus extra chorizo. Avocado, Egg & Cheese. Avocado, egg, cheese, sun blush tomatoes, caramelised onions, chipotle mayo. These are BIG, I struggled to finish 1 myself. I had the TBC Breakfast Burger and it was everything I want in between ciabatta. You could go even further and add Halloumi, hash browns, plus a different cut of bacon. The third option which we didn’t get is Cornflake Chicken & Bacon, but this will deffo be my next pick. Actually, the day after we had this we also got their bacon butties. Their bacon is BEAUTIFUL. I added an egg to mine, I suggest you do too. 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 I had been wanting to try @le.swine for many many years but it never worked out for me due to work, location, etc, but I finally had my shot! I got to try out their relaunched Bacon Butty Box. They’ve gone through a rebranding, a really cool 1960s look, the packaging looks great and I love the book that comes with it. Everything in the box has remained the same though, and the box says Britain’s best bacon butty. Well, is it? I think it very well could be! The bacon is amazing, the pure size and thickness of it shows you that you’re getting a premium product. They use a small family run butchers in Lancashire, 100% British and outdoor reared pork, which you then sprinkle with chopped sage. You have bacon butter which spreads perfectly on a milk and caramelised onion bun. Then lastly the homemade sauces; mushroom ketchup and chipotle ketchup. I honestly can’t pick a favourite. The chipotle was warm and tingling, and the mushroom has this smoothness and creaminess to it. I added an egg with mine. I was going to go for Clarence Court but I totally forgot to go out and get them, so a supermarket egg had to do for me. It didn’t matter though, the bacon was still the star of the show. Or was it the sauces? Or the bacon butter? 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🥓 On the weekend I went down to @breadaheadbakery in Wembley to have a lil tour of their bakery and check out the amazing cafe/restaurant that I had no idea existed. Bread Ahead are very famous for their baked goods, especially donuts, and they bake buns for some of your favourite burger restaurants, noticeably one of my favourites @eggslutuk. The cafe is a massive open space next to BoxPark which serves everything from their trademark donuts and other cakes, then onto breakfast and brunch dishes, such as bacon sandwiches, French toast, eggs Royale, and then have an offering of burgers, and also a full size pizza oven where they make fantastic looking Neapolitan pizzas. There’s also a full bar, so this is literally a place where you could go and spend all day and have all your courses, from morning until evening. They also do bakery lessons which you can book online, and have also recently launched their online zoom courses too. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆/Paid | I’ve been in this food game for a while now, so I’m seriously surprised that I’d never heard of @oinklondon. They are @kerbfood alumni, so I don’t know how I’d missed them at a market, but they make INCREDIBLE breakfast baps, and burgers for dinner. 🐽 Operating on @deliveroo down the road to me in Fulham, I placed an order yesterday morning and had the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. This is The ‘Pig Out’. British streaky bacon, locally sourced free range egg, and a homemade sausage patty. Then you choose your sauce, I went brown (nothing else is an option for me with breakfast), but you do have the choice of ketchup, bbq, and chipotle mayo. For £6.50 this is AMAZING value. I’d honestly expect to pay £8 or £9 for this. Honestly I was very very impressed, so much that I’m going to have to stop myself from ordering it repeatedly. If @oinklondon appears on your @deliveroo then 100% order it. I think it’s one of my favourite breakfast places now, but it’s also one of my favourite places to get a bacon and egg roll at 6pm on a Saturday. 🍳 Those @clarence_court eggs really are something else, aren’t they. Veronika's Kitchen presents a delightful Potato Salad with Bacon and Egg recipe that's perfect for picnics, barbecues, or any gathering. Creamy, savory, and satisfying, this salad is a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients: 4 cups of diced potatoes. 4 eggs. 6 strips of bacon. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1/4 cup chopped red onion. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. Salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions: For about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender, boil the diced potatoes. Take them out of the water and let them cool. Boil the eggs for a long time, then peel and cut them up. Once the bacon is crispy, break it up into little pieces. The diced potatoes, chopped eggs, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, and chopped parsley should all be put in a large bowl together. Put the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a different bowl and mix them together. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put the mayonnaise mixture on top of the potato mixture and toss it around gently to cover everything. Put the potato salad in the fridge for at least an hour before you serve it so that the flavors can mix. If you want, you can top the potato salad with more chopped parsley after serving it cold.

Cook Time: 15 minutes
