𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 I had been wanting to try @le.swine for many many years but it never worked out for me due to work, location, etc, but I finally had my shot! I got to try out their relaunched Bacon Butty Box. They’ve gone through a rebranding, a really cool 1960s look, the packaging looks great and I love the book that comes with it. Everything in the box has remained the same though, and the box says Britain’s best bacon butty. Well, is it? I think it very well could be! The bacon is amazing, the pure size and thickness of it shows you that you’re getting a premium product. They use a small family run butchers in Lancashire, 100% British and outdoor reared pork, which you then sprinkle with chopped sage. You have bacon butter which spreads perfectly on a milk and caramelised onion bun. Then lastly the homemade sauces; mushroom ketchup and chipotle ketchup. I honestly can’t pick a favourite. The chipotle was warm and tingling, and the mushroom has this smoothness and creaminess to it. I added an egg with mine. I was going to go for Clarence Court but I totally forgot to go out and get them, so a supermarket egg had to do for me. It didn’t matter though, the bacon was still the star of the show. Or was it the sauces? Or the bacon butter?
