A decadent twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring crispy bacon and creamy guacamole sandwiched between layers of melted cheddar cheese and grilled bread.
Ingredients: 4 slices bacon. 2 ripe avocados. 1 tbsp lime juice. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 slices bread. 8 slices cheddar cheese. Butter for spreading.
Instructions: After cooking bacon until it's crispy, drain it on paper towels. To make guacamole, mash avocados with salt, pepper, and lime juice in a bowl. Put guacamole on one side of every piece of bread. On top of each piece of bread covered in guacamole, put a slice of cheddar cheese. Lay two bacon slices on top of four of the bread slices. Then, cover with the last four bread slices, guacamole side down. Put butter on the outside of each sandwich. Put the pan over medium-low heat and grill the sandwiches for about 34 minutes on each side, or until both sides are golden brown and the cheese melts. Cut the sandwiches in half across the grain and serve them hot.
