Indulge in the timeless perfection of a classic cheeseburger. This burger is juicy, flavorful, and loaded with all the essential toppings. Perfect for your next backyard barbecue or weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup sliced pickles. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Ketchup and mustard, for topping. Salt and pepper, to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the burger patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster. Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce leaves on the bottom bun, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese. Top with diced onions, pickles, and tomato slices. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then place the top bun on top. Serve hot and enjoy!
