Bad Batch Fandom, I need yalls input;

I'm planning to do a fantasy/artificer!Tech cosplay for NorCal RenFaire in the fall. How can I translate Tech's outfits/design elements into a fit that would still be recognizable as him? I'm wanting to go for an androgynous or masc-leaning fit, but one that would work well with medium/long hair (I don't wanna commit to cutting my hair for cosplay lol). I'd be styling my hair similar to this fanart of a fem!Tech (Art by MsGingko on IG)
