My fave thing about retail is when they think someone stealing they want you to watch them and give them extra customer service. Nope. I am not security. I am not trained in that. I am sales associate. The minute you think they are stealing get security. If they are willing ti break one law I am not staying around to see what they think of assault. If I wanted to risk my life I would have become a security guard lol.

My Boss: I kmow the truck came in at 5am instead of 3am, and you and your coworker do the job of 4 people, but you should be 90% sone sorting by the time the truck leaves. Also I don't care if your hips hurt. Stop sitting and wasting time.
Me: Done and done. Lemme just do all of that before you even get here.
Uno dei miei manager oggi, nel corso del nostro ennesimo (ed inutile) tentativo di spiegargli che le cose così non vanno, ha detto: “Il benessere dei dipendenti non è nel mio interesse al momento”. Siccome io sono esasperata e ormai di mantenere le apparenze me ne fotte meno di niente, ho risposto: “Il benessere dei dipendenti è ciò che ti permette di avere dipendenti. Fossi in te ci penserei su” e me ne sono andata sbattendo la porta, seguita a ruota dai miei colleghi. Stiamo messi malissimo.

Tuesday seems to have got really busy! I’m doing more Uni work, reading and making notes on things I’m supposed to understand but don’t. I’m also having to use my portable desk because i’m ill with a nasty cold and i’ve been to the dentist for a filling today and the novacaine always knocks me about.
My manager still hasn’t written and submitted my QTLS statement. There are two days left before it’s due. I’m not holding out much hope if i’m honest.
