February 2021: Aoi-tayuu, of Suehiro okiya, organized a walking tour during Baika-sai, i.e. the Plum Blossom Festival, hosted by the geiko of Kamishichiken at the Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Participants gathered before noon in front of the torii gate and had lunch at the restaurant Sakuraiya. The tour mostly concentrated on exploring the plum orchard as the tea ceremony was canceled to prevent further Covid infections. The tour disbanded in the evening after coffee at a local tea shop.
