So I did include this in a thread years ago, but that wasn’t even on the blog so I’m counting it as unshared.
When Graham was about 12/13 he was caught hunting on the wrong man’s land. He was whipped as punishment, and because he couldn’t dress his wounds properly they became infected. He become quite ill, and while he obviously survived, he was left with bad scarring down his back.
He is ambivalent to most of his scars (and he has a good number), these scars he is rather self-conscious about. They remind him of being vulnerable. He will only show his bare back to those he trusts most, and even around them he is more likely to wear something to cover it.
