Florentines from the Mary Berry Baking Bible. Inspired by TGBBO from a few weeks ago.
Baked in batches so some of them were baked perfect to have the classic snap when broken. First time making them and tasting them. I think they are a bit buttery, I’d like some more flavours.
Repeat of Bake 81 from Mary Berry's Baking Bible - Cheese and Olive Scone Bake. Ricardo requested a savory bake for a fundraiser for American Cancer Society. So quickly made this up. It's a great and easy bake.

I baked 2 dozen to share with my old boss Missy cos it’s her birthday, my friend Barbara who I am meeting up with today and my hairdresser Melissa cos I’m getting a fresh cut this morning. Took the day off work cos we all need a mental health day
Mary Berry’s Very Best Chocolate Fudge Cake
Baked this once before and noted it was lovely. Made this time for my friend Melissa’s birthday. Hope to deliver tomorrow.
Lemon Shortbread Squares
Baked my usual shortbread recipe and then added a lemon glace icing sprinkled with yellow sugar.
It’s for the Cookie Exchange in work. I put a lot of effort into deciding on the right cookie recipe. Now that I taste these I really like them but they’re nothing special, simple and straightforward. I hope other people like them too.
Bake 215 - Doboz Torte - taking to work. This is made of 5 layers of cake(as thin as pancakes) sandwiched with chocolate butter cream. The top pieces are made by coating the sixth layer with caramel and then cutting into 16 pie slices pieces. These pieces are then held up with buttercream rosettes. 4 bakes left in the book.
Bake 207- Chocolate Eclairs - last bake in the Tarts and Pastries chapter. This is the first time I have made eclairs. The dimensions are a bit off but George assures me that the taste is great. Fell asleep early - so this is my earliest morning bake - started at 4am and taking to the gym to share.
