Based off Kings Cakes, a spell to create luck. Best made right before an even where you’ll need all the luck you can get.
What you will need:
-Your favorite cake recipe
-Clean lucky coin or whole nut/berry
As you prepare the cake, make sure to use clockwise motions to draw in good luck. If you wish, you may recite,
“Luck, luck
Yellow duck
Luck, luck
Bad luck buck”
This will help envision the golden glow of good fortune entering the batter. When greasing the cake pan, if you have a personal sigil of good luck, be sure to write it in the grease. Before baking, place the coin/berry/nut in the batter.
If what you added was edible, nothing else needs to be done as the consumer will walk around with the luck inside them. If using a coin, you or the finder should carry it on their person as long as is needed.
Edible cookie dough, perfect comfort food for the heart! (Spell under the cut)
This is a recipe that my little cousin shared with me, and since then, I’ve never stopped smiling whenever I make it. It’s technically a breakfast food, but it serves as a great, relatively healthy dessert to be snacking around aaaaall day.
🍪 𝑰𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 🍪
1 cup of oat flour (you can also just grind oats with a food processor)
1/3 cup of milk of your choice - ✧ soothing, nurturing ✧
1/4 cup of chocolate chips - ✧ comforting, self love ✧
1 tbsp of vanilla - ✧ calming, relaxing ✧
Replace the 1/3 of milk to 1/2 for a softer consistency
You can do 1/2 cup oat flour and a 1/2 cup what flour for a stickier consistency (don’t do this often though, still raw flour)
Remember to store in the fridge, and don’t let it sit there more than a week!
🍪 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒍 🍪
As it is, it is very simple. Think about what your intentions are with this spell.
Then, every time you add an ingredient, whisper five things to the bowl. I know that thinking about five things can be hard, so you can do one per ingredient and it will help just as well. Still, try your best to think of the five things, as it will help your mind go at ease and associate the food with the five things!!
Here are some examples of things I’ve used it for. You can come up with your own ideas for whatever you need it for, this is a very personal spell and there’s no wrong way to do it!!
✧ Self love: ✧
If whatever you’re struggling with came from you doubting yourself, or having a hard time finding that self love, whisper five positive about yourself, or that you are proud of.
Can be small things, these are just examples:
“ I am proud of getting up this morning”
“ I am happy I didn’t fail this class, or I gave my all despite the grade”
“ I am thankful I started this friendship/relationship with my friend/lover”
If you are struggling with your self esteem, be as objective as possible, don’t let negative thoughts form a bias, and allow yourself, as an exercise, to love yourself.
✧ For anxiety: ✧
If whatever you’re struggling with comes from something that caused you anxiety, whisper five positive things about your environment.
“ My socks are really fluffy and I love the texture”
“ This chocolate tastes very good”
“ Whatever was causing the anxiety can’t really hurt me (if it’s the case” or
“ Whatever was causing the anxiety can’t hurt me right now”
✧ General positivity: ✧
If you aren’t struggling with anything specific, you can just say positive things without any limitations. Even if you aren’t in a particularly sad or scary mood, you can never have too much positivity in your life!!
Can be simple stuff like:
“ My animal crossing villagers are really cute”
“ My cat is super fluffy and I love her”
“ I really like how my hair looks”
“ I am proud of myself because of how long I’ve survived my school”
“ I am so happy that my girlfriend and I have such a great relationship”
Be positive!!
The laziest bread, made by the laziest witch, for my fellow lazy witches:
Ingredients:
2 Cups Dairy Free Ice Cream (“Cinnamon Swirl” or Vanilla flavor)- this doesn’t have to be dairy free, but I am lactose intolerant so..
1.5 Cups Self-rising Flour
That’s really all you need to actually make the bread, and then I added some ground spices for the correspondences (all of them, except salt, include either luck, love, or both) plus it tastes better!
I don’t have the measurements for any of them though, because again, i’m lazy as fuck. I just kind of threw them in and thought “yea that’s not too much, not too little, it’ll do.”
Instructions:
Preheat oven 350°F.
Let the ice cream get soft, but not liquid/melted, and mix it in with the flour. It’s going to get all clumpy, the flour won’t mix in very well, and you’re going to think “I should add some water or something” but DON’T, just keep mixing. Eventually it’ll be more like sticky dough/batter.
Scoop the batter into a greased bread-pan, bake it at 350°F for 40ish minutes (or until you can poke it with a toothpick/knife and have it come out clean). Let it cool and you’re done!
Pastry of Harvest, carrot and spice,
I call upon magic to make this taste nice
Stir and mix, bake and sift
With this treat, give spirit Lift.
Heighten life’s pleasures and bring struggle to ease
Bring positive influence with three Mote-It-Be’s
Enrich the treat with goodness to Bake
I end this spell thusly: LET THEM EAT CAKE

A fun little spell for when you're baking! Change the carrot cake if you're not making carrot cake, but I thought this was fun to write!
