balancing chem equations :)

I need help balancing equations for chemistry I have only a few left; Sodium Hydroxide + sulfuric acid = sodium sulfate + water Fluorine gas + Calcium metal = Calcium Fluoride powder Sodium metal + Iron (II) Chloride = Iron metal + Sodium Chloride I need the balanced equations, thanks for your time
It's al about making the total numbers of each substance match on each side.
So, if you see a value, just multiply it by a number on both sides.
Sodium Hydroxide + Sulfuric acid = Sodium Sulfate + waterNaOH + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + H20 (unbalanced)
Let's count the atoms on each side. Left side vs right side:
1 Na -- 2 Na5 O -- 5 O3 H -- 2 H1 S -- 1 S
Since this is all about proportions and we cannot change the composition of the formulas, we can only multiply the values that we have, never divide.
It's always easier to pick an unbalanced atom that is only on one component in one side. In this case, Na. Let's multiply the left side by 2 and recount:
2 NaOH + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + H20 (unbalanced)
Atom count check:
2 Na -- 2 NA6 O -- 5 O4 H -- 2 H1 S -- 1 S
Ok, let's now balance the H, because one of them is just a multiple of the other, and on the right side appears in a single place, so we can just multiply that one by 2.
2 NaOH + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + 2 H20 (unbalanced)
Atom count check:
2 Na -- 2 Na6 O -- 6 O4 H -- 4 H1 S -- 1 S
Check that out! It is all balanced!

Fluorine Gas + Calcium metal = Calcium Fluoride powderF2 + Ca = CaF2
Atom check:
2 F -- 2 F1 Ca -- 1 Ca
Ah, this one was already balanced.

Sodium metal + Iron (II) Chloride = Iron metal + Sodium ChlorideNa + FeCl2 = Fe + NaCl
Atom check:
1 Na -- 1 Na1 Fe -- 1 Fe2 Cl -- 1 Cl
Let's balance Cl:
Na + FeCl2 = Fe + 2 NaCl
1 Na -- 2 Na1 Fe -- 1 Fe2 Cl -- 2 Cl
Huh, we unbalanced Na. Let's balance that one now:
2 Na + FeCl2 = Fe + 2 NaCl
2 Na -- 2 Na1 Fe -- 1 Fe2 Cl -- 2 Cl
Balanced!

I had completely forgotten how to do these but this very nice video helped me out remember and go through the process:
hey twunc my regionlas is in 3 weeks u better wish upon a fucking star that I win
also how the FUCK do u balance equations
Yeah, yeah, I got your message. Starting to wonder if you spelled "regionals" wrong twice on purpose.
The best way to figure out how to balance chemical equations is to do it in practice. Let's start with something simple.
Fe + Cl2 -> FeCl3
This is clearly unbalanced since there's two chlorine atoms on one side and three on the other. We can fix this by first multiplying the chlorine atoms together to figure out how many we need on each side to keep it balanced. It's basically like adding fractions -- we're finding the common denominator. In this case, it's 6. Two times three.
So now we give each molecule a new coefficient so there are six chlorine atoms on each side.
Fe + 3Cl2 -> 2FeCl3
But now the iron is unbalanced. Not to worry. You can just add another to the reactants since the iron is on its own.
2Fe + 3Cl2 -> 2FeCl3
Now it's balanced.
