i'm convinced that "Balladyna" would be very popular if it was written in english, it's one of my favourite plays i had to read in school.

it's about a girl named Balladyna who murders a lot of people to become a queen. kinda like Macbeth or Lady Macbeth if she was doing the murders herself, and there are annoying magical creatures, kinda like in the Midsummer's night dream:

the reason for the whole drama is that a naiad called Goplana fell in love with Balladyna's boyfriend called Grabiec

so she sent her minions to make a prince called Kirkor to fall in love with Balladyna, so she would dump her boyfriend

but Balladyna had a sister, Alina, and Goplana's minions didn't know which one is Grabiec's girlfriend so they just made Kirkor fall in love with both of them

he obviously couldn't marry both so they organised a raspberry picking contest

Alina made fun of Balladyna because she wasn't that good at raspberry picking, so Balladyna obviously had to fucking stab her to death (she got the mark of Cain for that🥰)

Balladyna came back home, told everyone that Alina ran off with some random guy, married Kirkor and moved in with him. in the palace she did a bunch of crazy shit, including imprisoning and eventually kicking out her elderly mother, lying about her origins, finding a lover and killing another person

in the meantime a guy called Filon found Alina's corpse in the woods and fell in love with it????

Balladyna felt highkey guilty about killing Alina, so she went to a hermit who offered to resurrect her and... Balladyna refused

then Balladyna's ex boyfriend Grabiec came the palace (Goplana turned him into a tree for a moment but he got better), and he had a very important crown with him, so Balladyna obviously had to murder him, duh

she also commanded her lover to kill the hermit, because he knew about her crimes

Goplana was like "oh shit i fucked up" so she decides to get the fuck out of there and leaves her lake

Balladyna and her lover waged a war against her husband (he was out of town when she killed all those people and she was afraid of his reaction)

her lover killed Kirkor in the final battle and then Balladyna poisoned her lover because he was the last witness of her crimes

she became a queen and right after her coronation she had to judge criminals. a bunch of people came and told her about her own crimes (they didn't know that she did it tho), including her mother who became blind after Balladyna kicked her out of the palace

her mother accused her daughter of mistreating her, but refused to tell them her daughter's name so they TORTURED HER (she died without telling them who he daughter was)

Balladyna, completely aware that she judges herself, sentenced the perpetrator to death and God strucked her with lightning

the end🥰 total number of people killed by Balladyna: 7 (including herself)

uhhh… amnesia lesbian?

In all seriousness tho, I finally got around to drawing Alina Wilczur! She’s been legally dead for the past nine years, has amnesia and limited mobility in the left side of her body. She was modified with Direwolf genes, is about 190 cm tall and uses she/her pronouns [more lore and angst under the cut]

Me: *goes off the face of the earth for another month and drops this* hello :} anyways,

She’s an orphan, taken into GT during what I like to call The First Wave of recruitment. This generation of heroes was experimental but when an experiment was successful, the trainee would be turned into a tool of propaganda, becoming a poster child and being used to lure in new trainees, this time also from rich families. 

By the time she was nineteen, Alina was suffering from a lot of complications(a lot of safeguards and procedures weren’t around when she was first turned, so it was as a given) and took the narrow chance of escape by faking her death with the help of a gt scientists. She survived, but the poison she ingested to achieve that did a lot of damage, almost permanently paralysing the left side of her body and cutting off almost all of her memories of her past life.   

Alina is 28 years old now, living in a safehouse some distance away from Tarabiscoville with her wife!  The wife’s name is May and she is the daughter of the person that nursed Alina back to health after the whole poison shtick.

The name “Alina Wilczur” is also a double reference to Polish classic media, a play and a movie. To the two polish people in the chat, can you guess all the layers? 

I’ll reveal more lore in later posts, such as the identity of the scientist and her connection to Kore and other characters., but now I didn’t want to make a kilometre long post so here’s that.

I just made an another TMA x classical book AU EXCEPT *shock* it's not goth this time! (As far as I'm aware) it's a TMA x Balladyna AU (POLISH TMA FANS PLEASE TAKE THE STAND (or anyone else who's read the book, though I don't think it's well known in other countries)) basically Balladyna would be an avatar of the slaughter (or maybe hunt in a way?), Filon is a messed up and aligned with either the End or Corruption, BRO FELL IN LOVE WITH A DEAD WOMAN, that old man would be tied to the Eye smh, Goplana is uhhh, some sort of monster/avatar of the Corruption? Maybe mixed with something else? The Vast? She seems Vast-ly to me idk why and the Corruption because she's like, a forest witch sorta + her relationship with Grabiec was weird

Anyways, lemme know what you guys think about this one!
