Could you show either a better look at the Chapter 4 Enemies or Jackenstein? I'm really curious about whether he's actually scary in this universe.

Since I already did Jackenstein, went with a take on a bunch of chapter four enemies! Considering the ones in canon are already on the more abstract and unsettling side, eldritch versions of them was a bit tough.

But, this page includes Wafers, Organikks, Guei, Cuptains, Wicabel, Winglade, and Balthizard!

Bridge to Deltarune

I’m probably not ever going to color this, but I had this idea before going to bed today and had to draw it. This is a redraw of the cover for Bridge to Terabithia, a movie that if you haven’t seen, be warned for spoilers under the cut.

also I guess this is the debut for my teenager asriel and Dess designs

I don’t actually remember a whole lot about the movie aside from some outstanding features- I had borrowed it from my middle school’s library because my brother had finished reading the book, but I was going in with no prior knowledge. I hadn’t even realized Terabithia was purely imagination until about halfway through, and by then, Leslie (Dess in this case) had died. I don’t think I fully realized she was dead either, at least until the very end. It’s a very unfortunate movie, but it does have a good message about letting people in, even when it gets difficult. I think it’s really sweet that by the end Jesse shares Terabithia (him and Leslie’s imagination land) with his little sister, letting her join in on the magic, even if a fundamental part of it is forever changed and gone.

I liken it to Deltarune not only for the imagination parts, but for the narrative and themes that the story was trying to convey.
