A fun fact about Bane Chronicles Spanish translation that pisses me off as a translation student…

This scene in What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who Has Everything?

They were lying down, talking and laughing.

But then, in Spanish:

“… in bed with Alec, without clothes…”

What do you mean WITHOUT CLOTHES??? Like the whole story is about how early they are into their relationship, i remember reading it for the first time and feeling like it didn’t make sense so I went to the original language.

I just feel like it changes the meaning.

Also every time Alec was called Alex through the whole tmi saga (but I think that’s more an editing mistake)

bonus: what are some of y’all’s theories about him? like who he actually was before he chose the name ragnor fell. i’ve heard multiple people say they think he grew up in Scotland, which i love. but i could also totally see him being a London boy
