" he frowned at zoro, pressing a little harder despite how careful he was consciously trying to be with him. he wasn't chopper, he wasn't able to do much in terms of medical treatment and he certainly didn't know how to dress a wound properly, but he could clean it just fine. and maybe he could attempt to wrap them as well, though he was sure he'd just end up tangling them both up in bandages somehow.

" i'm not babysitting you, i'm helping. so sit still so i don't make it worse. " he grumbled, more out of the sheer amount of focus he was putting into this rather than annoyance or anything.

"So you're the one who hi-jacked my body, huh?" He's teasing of course. Romanus smiles. Honestly, it's a little hard to be smiling with all these bitter feelings, but he'll make do with what he's got!

"How does it feel? I've never actually met a werewolf, let alone a half-werewolf. Pretty interesting if I do say so myself."

Gesturing to Ed (himself), he tilts his head and follows up with the question: "be careful. If you're not used to, uh, you know...having flames inside of you, you may set something on fire."

Butch had seen those teeth up close and personal before, an unpleasant experience to say the least... but if the guy was going to hurt him seriously, he would have surely done so already.

Seeing those teeth again this time, Butch lights up, feeling successful in his personal little effort. The smile wasn't authentic but it was a smile nonetheless!

"Look at them pearly whites!" Another vigorous strum at his guitar just for fun as he gets closer to the wolf, peering up at him with a smile of his own. "That wasn't so hard now was it? Now I think you'd make more friends f'ya got around with a face like that!" He points out; there's a hint of playfulness in his tone.

Antares pressed a dislocated arm back into place as he willed it to heal back faster than it should for any normal human. He'd underestimated his foe - yet another former colleague who yearned for a new start . He had expected someone who was cornered and fighting out of desperation. He was prepared for that. He was not prepared for someone who had backup and am actual escape plan.

So it was two cyborgs against one. Had been, two against one.

All of a sudden, Antares found someone by his side. Or at least it seemed that way at the moment. Couldn't be too sure.

"Ed..?" There was a tone of..disbelief(?) there.

" Dude, what are you doing here?"

Well - it wasn't in shame or regret that he was staring but mostly disbelief that they were back in the same place. A moment to clear his throat and push aside the pinkening of his cheeks at the memories shared and with a swallow to stop himself from delving too deeply into those passionate nights, he instead smiled.

"It's just a surprise... Nice to see you again, Edward. You seem well."

Vlad looked like a deer caught in headlights, his attention pulled from his leather scheduling book at whomever suddenly spoke to him. Waiting at a bus stop to head back to his apartment and figured he'd work on his schedule for the week. What was with the sarcasm though?

"I could say the same for you, I'm a big boy, I can take care of myself. Pretty sure you can too, unless I'm missing something here?"

Was he failing at picking up some sort of social cue? Something about the other guy was off, though Vlad wasn't picking it up immediately.

"Or do you want some company and not sure how to ask for it?"
