Young Justice can’t seem to have a royal family without including an evil uncle. Maybe Ocean Master, Count Vertigo and Baron Bedlam should start a club.

When Skyman is taking prisoner by the Markovian new government, and forced to do a propaganda film, he refuses, in the hopes that his fellow infinitors will rescue him. What he is not counting on, is on the Outsiders involvement as well.

So many problems with this story... but it doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy it. You just have to like Thomas’ writing and Barr’s way of writing foreigners and women. Technically, those two writers have a lot of common ground.

But it also involves the Force of July... a group I cannot wait to see killed in one panel sometime. And it also involves a “too much in control” Psycho-Pirate. These appearances were clearly ignored by Morrison when he took on the character a couple of years later.

I am also impressed how nobody realizes Psycho-Pirate is wearing a mask.

But my main concern with the story, is the “second plot” that involves an Abraham Lincoln lookalike, and an already summoned Force of July, that seems to be there, mostly to incapacitate half of both teams. I am not really buying the ending either, nothing is explained as to what happened to the people of Markovia, just what happened to the villain.

To make things a little worse, the art in the Infinity special is not particularly good, and all the exposition made the issue extra lengthy, and not in a good way.
