Summary: All Jin knew was the ropes of a boxing ring, the pain of broken limbs. He grew up in this life, making a name for himself, the path that his father had carved out for him. He knew nothing of a gentle touch and soft whispers and a sweet girl who had no business around the likes of him.
Notes: Requested by anon! Didn't give me much detail so I made it what I could! I'm really excited to post it, when it's finished of course! This teaser is three scenes, which occurs in not any specific order in the fic itself. The fic overall is rated mature, for blood and violence and of course the smut. If anyone wants to be tagged, comment or send an ask :) Enjoy!
Content warning(s): Blood and Violence, smut (It's just a bit of dry humping, nothing major! Feel free to skip it if it makes you uncomfortable in anyway! Minors, do not interact with the last scene or I'll bite your ankles 😤) and a bit of swearing.

Seokjin bounced on spot, squeezing his eyes shut only for the minute he was allowed. The deafing roar of the Boxing Gym did little to settle the ringing of his ears, blood was dripping into his eye and he could bearly hear Namjoon shouting something to someone - he has no idea where his mouth guard had gone. The match was stopped briefly, his opponent, stalking in the neutral zone of the ring, looking a little too eager for Seokjin's taste.
Someone entered the ring, ducking between the ropes at the referees persistence, hurrying over to him with a first aid kit. Through the sweat and the blood dripping into his eyes, he could just barely make out the form of Yoongi, squating in front of him and the bright shine of a light in his eyes. Yoongi's words were muddled, and Seokjin felt as though his head was under water, but he doubt he would have heard him even if his ears weren't ringing right now.
"Jin! Can you continue the match?" Namjoon's voice was suddenly loud in his ear, and Yoongi was making quick work of the gash in his eyebrow that he'd somehow manage to acquire. He nods, a little dazed - the world had only just stopped spinning for him - and he got to his feet, ignoring the worried glance that Yoongi shared with his manager.
A new mouth guard was pressed firmly into his palm, and he took a deep breath in and a calm exhale. He could do this; it's the last round. All he has to do is knock out his opponent. Shouldn't be too hard, but the man has proven that he could take a hit, if the last round was anything to go by. If Seokjin wasn't too busy trying to shake off the beginnings of the concussion he knew would follow after that blow he took to the head, he'd be impressed.
Yoongi gives him a pat on the shoulder, and ducks back out of the ring, standing next to Namjoon who looked perplexed and unconvinced as Seokjin gave a thumbs up to the referee. The match began again, and Seokjin and his opponent circled eachother for a brief second, taunting words slipping through the man's mouth guard, muffled and threating.
He barely had time to slip backward as the man threw a fist forward, just grazing Seokjin's nose. He could barely see straight, it was a wonder he didn't stumble, and in his state, he was on the defensive. He wondered how far the timer's gone, if the minutes were ticking by as slowly as he presieved them, Seokjin shook his head slightly, the action sending a ricocheting pain around his skull that had him nauseous; he needed to stay focus or he'll risk this win. He could just spot Namjoon's worried expression, his position as his manager allowing him only so much, and Yoongi was biting at the nail of his thumb, nerves evident in the action.
Seokjin jabs a fist forward, wincing slightly at the numbness of his hand inside the glove, just managing to distract his opponent enough for him to bring the other upward, connecting with the underside of his jaw with the speed that he was well known for. The man teethered backward, tilting and falling backwards by the blow and Seokjin counted the seconds as the referee approaches to make the count.
With just a few seconds left on the timer, Seokjin breathes a sigh of relief as his opponent was unable to stand to continue. There was the unsavoury tatse of copper in his mouth, and an ache in his head that only rose with the sound of the bell and the cheers of the crowd.

"You really should," Yoongi drawls, and though his face was set into a practiced state of boredom, the tiny furrow of his brows and the tapping of his finger against the hardwood countertop gave way to his concern. "Namjoon would have a fit though,"
"Namjoon can kiss my ass," Seokjin leans back against the the soft cushion of the booth, a harsh exhale of air leaving his nose. "My health is more important than some stupid title that I'd lose anyway."
"Don't downplay yourself Jin, you're the best out there. Though, I agree with you; you barely made it out of that match last week." Yoongi motions at his bandaged hand and the cut that spilt through his perfect brow with a hand. He leans forward, nudging his empty whiskey glass aside with a finger. The dim lighting of the bar casted shadows across his face, making his soft features look sharper, and the slight pout on his bottom lip look a little less thoughtful. "Look, I won't tell Namjoon. You deserve the right to get out, but you should bring it up with him yourself."
Seokjin flexes his fingers under the tight wraps of the white bandage. "What about that new kid?" He felt the need to change the topic, swerving it away from focusing on him too much.
"He's good, talks about you a lot too. I saw him today, he was talking to Namjoon. I think his name's Jeongguk?"
「 ──────── 」
"F-fuck." Seokjin pants, full lips parted as he gasped. Your smaller hand gripped his wrist, the wrist of the hand that guided the movement of your hips over his clothed erection. His eyes trail up your form, taking in the light sheen of sweat that clung to your skin, your kiss swollen lips parted in a moan and a desperate whisper of his name that had him raising his hips. Bruises lined your neck and chest like stars in a midnight sky, just above the low dip of the tee-shirt that belonged to one of your roommates.
You lean back, your ass resting on his thighs as your fingers fumble against the leather of his belt and Seokjin was quick to stop you. He takes your hand in his, bringing it to his lips to press a kiss in apology, "Not tonight, pretty girl."
He ignores your pout and the soft whine that left you, pulling you forward, your core flushed with his hard-on. Seokjin knew just how well you could feel him trough the soft cotton of your shorts, and his hand found purchase against the heated skin of your waist. The fingers of his other hand wraps gently around the back of your neck, pulling you downward into a kiss of heat and tongue, and you resume the smooth rock you'd started before against the rough material of his jeans. His kisses trail your jaw, nipping lightly at the skin with blunt teeth, "Just this okay? Is that okay?"
He feels your nod more than he sees, and he smiles against your skin and sucks against your flesh in a way that had your hips stuttering and a moan leaving you. He abandons his grip in favour of wrapping his arm around you, pulling your body flush against his as he thrust upwards losing his rythm as his end neared. "Fuck, oh fuck." Seokjin grunts, as the warm heat of his orgasm flared and soaked the front of his jeans, and you were quick to follow, stilling above him briefly before you shuddered. A moan of his name and Seokjin was pressing kisses into your skin, his hand rubbing mindless circles against the bare skin of your hip.

A/N: I struggled a bit with this one, but once I started it wasn’t too bad. Hopefully you enjoy it
“Alright. The only thing to do is find you a new favorite drink!” Jin said confidently, going behind the bar with Jimin.
Taehyung nodded. “He’s right. It’s the best way to get over your ex.”
“But...we’re all supposed to go to the beach tomorrow. I don’t want to be hungover,” You argued weakly, taking a seat at the bar with the others.
“She’s right,” Hoseok agreed, watching with growing concern as Jungkook also joined the other two behind the bar--all three mixing drinks to tempt you.
“Then we’ll put off going to the beach. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, anyway,” Jimin said flippantly. “The best way to get over an ex-boyfriend is to get drunk with your friends and pick a new favorite drink.”
“Why does his way of thinking not surprise me?” You murmured, concerned at the combination of ingredients before you.
Jin slid a glass in front of you. “Mudslide.”
You regarded it with caution. “Which is…?”
“Just try it,” Jimin ordered, rolling his eyes.
You did, a little surprised. “Hmm. It’s good, but it also tastes like something I would sneak into the office on a rough day.”
“Pina colada?” Jungkook asked.
“Boring?” You answered snarkily.
He nodded agreement. “True. Alright. You do prefer sweet drinks, right?”
“I do.”
He gave you a dramatic thumb’s up.
“Ugh, how girly,” Jimin teased, smirking at you. “Your regular is a cosmo, so you actually tend toward tangy flavors. But I get the gist of what you’re saying. You’d rather be sweet than sour or burn-y.”
You nodded.
Hoseok had tasted the mudslide as well, passing it on to Yoongi, who appeared happy with it.
“Strawberry Daiquiri,” Jungkook said, sliding it over to you.
You took a sip. “Mmm, I do like that.”
“Aperol Spritz,” Jimin countered, a competitive look in his eyes.
You nodded. “I like the tones in this….”
“Hurricane,” Jin announced.
You glanced toward Taehyung. “Why do I feel like I’m going to die from mixing alcohol?”
Taehyung just shook his head a bit, sipping the Daiquiri.
“They’re really trying to get you drunk,” Hoseok murmured, making a curious face as he tasted the spritz.
You sipped the Hurricane and felt your eyes get huge. “Whoa.”
“Mai Tai!” Jungkook slid it to you with a flourish.
You sighed, shaking your head and tasting it.
Drink after drink set before you and you took small sips of most of them, your head already a little static, until finally you held up your hands.
“Enough, I surrender. I’ll tell you what drink I want as my new regular.”
All three bartenders turned, awaiting your final appraisal.
You took a breath. “My new regular drink...will be….”
A glance down told you exactly what was missing, and you were actually kind of happy that they hadn’t hit upon this drink.
“The classic French Martini,” You said, letting your hands drop.
They stared at you quietly for a long while.
“Classy,” Jimin finally whispered, awestruck.
Jin slid a glass down the counter to you, a look of quiet satisfaction on his face.
Jimin’s eyes practically bugged out of his head. “How….”
“I saw her drink it at a party once,” Jin answered, smiling smugly. “It took me a while to remember it.”
You took a sip and smiled. “Very nice. After I finish this, I’m done for the night, though. I shouldn’t be allowed to mix alcohol.”
Jungkook looked disappointed.
“Cheer up, Jungkookie, it’s just a drink. It’s not like I said anything before-hand.”
“She doesn’t get it,” Yoongi chuckled. “She’s too drunk.”
You looked down at him, then back at the sullen bartender boys.
“It’s not like Jin picked out my drink, he just happened to have the right answer after the test was over,” You said.
They looked even more upset by that.
Yeah, you were definitely missing something.
Jin started clearing drinks from in front of you, giving a few to each of the boys. “Forget them, y/n. Just enjoy your chosen drink. Forget about the past. Tomorrow is a new day and a new sort of hangover.”
You giggled a bit, definitely looser. “Alright. But I should really drink some water.”
“You have been,” Taehyung said lightly, laughing a bit and handing you the almost-empty water bottle. “And you’ve been eating.”
You stared at the empty bowl beside you. “Oh. Okay then.”
“She’s really drunk,” Namjoon muttered.
“Yeah. I’ll get her settled in the room upstairs. The rest of us should crash here. I’ll bring blankets and pillows down with me.” Jin stretched.
“Why can’t I stay down here?”
“Because Jimin is well on his way past tipsy, and drunk Jimin is a touchy-feely Jimin.”
“I like touchy-feely….”
“No, not his kind, you don’t.” Jin gently guided you to the back stairs, and up to the apartment above his bar. “Besides, you’ll get your own bathroom.”
“That’s nice.”
“Yes it is.”
You made a soft sound of regret. “Too many sweet drinks.”
“Yeah, sorry to put you through that.”
“Beach tomorrow?”
“Beach the day after tomorrow,” He corrected softly, helping you in the door and guiding you to the bedroom, making sure you drank more water and took some medicine before turning on the light in the bathroom. “Alright. If you need anything, just call my phone. Your phone is right here.”
You met his gaze, wondering how someone managed to glow. “I like summer.”
“I know,” He replied, smiling.
“It’s so bright and you guys all have more free-time and you close your bar early on the weekdays so we can spend time together….” You sighed and let your head fall forward onto his shoulder. “You’re so much fun.”
He laughed softly and then gently lay you back. “Try to sleep, y/n. It will help you feel better.”
You sighed softly and let yourself relax, licking your lips because there was still a hint of raspberry on your lips. “Don’t like being drunk.”
“I know. It’s okay. You’re safe here. I’m going downstairs now,” He whispered, kissing your forehead and then the warmth he radiated seemed to seep away as he left you.
You pouted in the ensuing silence, wishing you’d been bequeathed a different sort of sweet drink.
imagine going to the bar to find out that bartender!jimin is so sick, he can't make it to work (he never wants to lose a day because that's losing a chance to see you, but since he works in the food industry, he has no choice). and you figure how to get to his house and take care of him, giving back to all those times he helped you. it's the first time he sees you so sober, responsible, and caring with such purpose. it makes him smile for the first time in the day. he wishes to see this everyday
over and over again i was wondering how to write this but i realized i couldn’t because of how sweet this is and i’m just :”) like this so everyone pls be like this with me
