Thanks for the hot tip but I have seen it already and have drawn my own conclusions regarding the matter, especially after considering the sources.

Always, always, always:

CONSIDER THE SOURCE.

I’ve chosen not to post your ask because the less attention placed on this person, the better.

If you recall, it was also around Christmas three years ago that this person’s “mentor” revealed herself.

I often wonder what would’ve happened had we simply amplified the truth this “mentor” told initially and ignored her outlandish claims, which she began spewing with a vengeance when she realized that she could attract far more notoriety and attention by changing her story to one much more salacious and destructive. Because haters love to hate.

As I’ve said before, the right thing to do when an actual crime has been committed is to file charges with the police and provide solid evidence of the crime, to support the claim with the proper authorities should one also seek to file a claim in court. Justice absolutely should be served but only if it’s warranted. And much more evidence than this is required.

Her protégé’s claim is vague, without specific evidence to support it, presented only to stir the pot of defamation once again.

The protégé is wearing a bathing suit and appears to be posing for the photo in question. She looks to have undergone a recent “cupping” treatment. It’s difficult to determine exactly what her grievance against the accused might be.

Regret is not a crime. Consent, or the denial thereof, is not retroactive. Objective facts are immutable. Vague implications are not facts.

And proclaiming a known delusional stalker and compulsive liar as her mentor serves only to discredit her claims.

Likewise, this “news” breaking from a source known to have a close relationship with the accused’s disgruntled aunt publicly feuding with the accused over the family fortune serves only to raise questions about the source’s credibility and motives.

Both the accuser and the person breaking the news are relying on people’s wild imaginations and need for titillation to fill in the blanks of the story the accuser is not actually telling.

Let’s not fall for that again.

Putting together the timeline

**This is a reminder that I’m theorizing. Please don’t take it as fact.**

I don’t know how Joy and I got into this conversation but she told me they plan R&L over a year in advance. I was shocked by that because that would mean Van would’ve negotiated with R&L around August 2023 which was when they were primarily silent.

I found this article from 2011 which supports what Joy said. They talked with the booker for R&L and this is what he had to say:

16 months in advance of August 2024 puts us at April 2023. I thought that was insane but then started thinking about Sardy’s posts…

@theeleventhhour had the brilliant thought that Sardy was hinting at CATB headlining R&L with this post which was posted 26th May and later deleted. I’m guessing he deleted it because he didn’t want to spoil the news which would eventually be announced November 2023.

The 16 months in advance is making sense. 😁 He also posted this on 26th May using the hashtag #bestalbumever. I believe the album was complete (or mostly complete) by then.

Now I see this post as Van’s got money having just sold his voice for a long weekend! 🤣

Based on when Sardy first used the CATB hashtag, Van and Sardy were probably working on the album from 2022-2023. I’m guessing Showtime was one of the last songs to be written around May 2023.

The article said scouting for bands is a combination of agents/bands approaching them and them approaching agents/bands. Due to the uncertainty of the band’s future at the time, I’m pretty sure it was Van and Sardy approaching R&L. Headlining R&L is honestly an epic comeback announcement and it was well played as that was a massive surprise for fans. And then I’m pretty sure they’ve been busy since hiring management and booking agents, and figuring out their album rollout.

I guess what I’m saying is that silence doesn’t mean they’re doing nothing. Van’s been grafting away this entire time, that bastard. 🙂 (I won’t forget how much suffering he put us through. 😆)

Kalani pulled his damp locks back, and out of his face with one hand. He was gathering some items and sticking them in his backpack, taking advantage of the summer hours. He knew he would need to change once he left his cell, as he was currently only wearing a pair of shorts. The good news was, he planned to be in the water for most of the day so the dress code really didn’t bother him. As the bound seer turned, he stopped after a single step, noticing a woman in the doorway. She looked familiar, but he couldn’t recall exactly how he knew her. No collar, not a slave, he thought to himself. His brow lifted, as if to ask her what she can help her with. Of course, if he had said it, it might have come out as sarcastic. That wasn’t how Kalani was, he was genuinely concerned she was looking for someone, or something, and wanted assistance.
