2023-2024 sr conclusions

This is a post about my past Solar return (last years) to compare events with the astrological placements from when I turned 20 to 21. I’m sorry for not being active on here for the past month!

Sun in Leo 8h 5°: The main themes of this year were my creativity, romance and the occult & taboo topics with 8h. I’ve also been going through it this year with transformations & rebirths.

Moon in Taurus 4h 2°: I’ve been emotionally connected to my beauty, finances, romances. I’ve been more emotional or feeling prone to cry this year and thinking about my home & family a lot this year.

Mercury in Virgo 8h 1°: My communication has mostly stayed the same but I’ve been trying to not be so bold & passionate with my communication. I’ve also been communicating about the occult, transformations, intimacy this year.

Venus in Leo 8h 19°: My beauty, aesthetics, romances are more confident in my makeup products, doing more self-care. Venus in 8h did not necessarily have a toxic relationship but I did have intense feelings. I also wanted to have a relationship more this year than before.

Mars in Gemini 6h 4°: My passions & ambitions, I wanted to continue to communicate on here and was thinking about doing astrology etc readings. I was more focused on my routines, and staying organized. I was also passionate about my home, family, and emotions.

Jupiter in Gemini 6h 13°: My luck was with my communication & technology with example this tumblr blog; being more active on here. I was also lucky with my routine etc this year. I was also lucky with my self, appearance getting more compliments.

Saturn in Pisces 3h 18° rx: My obstacles this year was my emotions, mental health, relationships. I also had obstacles as the same with luck in my communication, education. I also had obstacles with my routines and not wanting to follow them.

Uranus in Taurus 5h 26°: My sudden changes this year were my romances, beauty and aesthetics and wanting to be more stable. Also changes with creativity, fun, romances again lol.

Neptune in Pisces 3h 29°: My creativity & spirituality etc was more emotional, creative, romantic. I was communicating my creativity etc on tumblr.

Pluto in Aquarius 2h 0°: My transformations were through the internet especially this blog we hit 500 followers!, my friendships and wanting to be more creative. Also transformations with my appearance and putting more effort in to feel more beautiful.

North node in Aries 3h 8°: I was more passionate, felt more confident and was focusing on my self, appearance etc. I was communicating and learning different things this year.

Chiron in Aries 4h 23°: My wounds were with my self and harping on stuff from the past that I needed to let go. And wounds with family and my emotions towards my home etc.

Part of Fortune in Virgo 9h 19°: My luck was with my organization, my learning, with my spirituality and continue to believe in the stuff I believe in. And some luck with relationships or attracting more potential relationships/ partners.

Vertex in Leo 8h 4°: My fated events this year were with my creativity, romance. Another fated thing was focusing on the occult more, taboo things & topics and experiencing a toxic relationship or finding myself in those dynamics. Also being more emotional or wanting to express emotions more.

Juno in Virgo 9h 25°: My image of an ideal partner changed to someone more organized, logical. I also want someone more fun and likes to do fun things. And someone more passionate and dominant in a good way.

Briede in Virgo 9h 22°: I thought more logical about being a bride and what I wanted to look like and how I wanted to be a wife in the future. I want to be a more fun, spontaneous plans / trips kind of wife and have a more free spirit in my future marriage.

Eros in Virgo 8h 8°: My passions were definitely taboo, occult related and dabbing more into tarot etc. My other passion this year was also thinking about finances, wealth, intimacy and wanting those things more than before.

Boda in Libra 10h 29°: My idea of a wedding changed to maybe eloping and just having the person and me marrying by ourselves.

Union in Virgo 8h 7°: I did meet people and was approaching relationships more logically and figuring out what I really wanted. I did get into Union with someone and they do have some Libra placements and Scorpio degrees and water degrees.

Asc: Sagittarius 22°: I was more vocal about traveling, having more fun etc. I was also more serious in my head and others probably noticed it.

Mc: Libra 13°: My idea of a career is to have one more peaceful and balanced in every way. I also want a career where I’m passionate about it and I want to do it everyday.

Desc: Gemini 22°: In terms of my type this year I wanted someone more charming, and smart and funny. I wanted someone more serious, ambitious.

Aspects:

Moon conjunct Chiron 4h: There was definitely more emotional wounds relating to my family, home and overthinking about those things.

Mars conjunct Jupiter 6h: There was more expansion and passion into my daily routine, work.

North node 3h trine sun 8h: My more passionate side etc went with my main themes of this year.

Sun conjunct vertex 8h: Fated events with darker themes and still learning about the occult etc.

Juno 9h trine Uranus 5h: My ideal partner and what I wanted came in quick with Uranus in 5h of romance, fun.

Juno 9h trine Pluto 2h: My ideal partner and meeting them brought transformations with romance, self-esteem etc.

Groom conjunct Jupiter 6h: Met someone this year that did not work out. But luck with possibly meeting / finding a partner. But I did have more luck and got into a connection before this Solar return ended.

Signs

Aries - The Ram Element - Fire Position - Cardinal Ruler - Mars Gender - Masculine Body ‐ Head Sister sign - Libra Dates - March 21st - April 20th

Common Characteristics - Action-oriented Passionate Bold Confident Determined Brave Impatient Impulsive Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and they act like it. They are leaders if not a bit hasty. They tend to act first, think later and that often leads them to be at the front of the pack even if they don't know why.  As a fire sign, they are very upbeat, happy, and fun loving until you upset them. Then they become aggressive, tactless, and angry. Fortunately, their anger burns bright and quickly, fizzling out after they have spent their energy.  As a Cardinal sign, they are leaders by default. They initiate more often than they follow and they tend to shake up the norm more often than not.  Being ruled by Mars makes them driven, determined, and unafraid. They tackle all manner of obstacles put in their way. As Mars is the God of War, they also tend to feel at home in opposition. They love a good fight and they tend to get loud and rowdy when a good fight breaks out. They are not ones to "talk things through" but would rather see action to correct a situation.  Their sister sign, Libra, is the opposite. While Aries prefers action, Libra prefers discussion. Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac. They are the home bodies of the zodiac.  As an earth sign, they are very down to earth and even tempered. They would rather solve a problem with their head rather than their mouths or fists.  As a fixed sign, they tend to be very stubborn and set in their ways. They don't like change and they don't want to change. This can be dangerous as they may have toxic traits they are unwilling to work through.  Being ruled by Venus makes them a lover at heart. They enjoy fine dining, cozy nights in, materialistic goods, and good company. This can also lead them into passive aggression to avoid direct conflict.  Their sister sign, Scorpio, tends to enjoy more of the darker aspects of life whereas Taurus typically keeps to the more light hearted aspects.  Taurus is a wonderful friend and an amazing partner if you are able to meet their needs accordingly. However, they are not a sign that would be easy to best in an argument as they stand their ground without giving in easily.

Common Characteristics -  Articulate Communicative Curious Adaptable Friendly Witty Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac.  As an air sign, they are highly intellectual and nearly apathetic. They like to talk out issues but are not afraid to get their hands dirty if the situation calls for it.  As a Mutable sign, they are a lot more open to change and new ideas than most.  Being ruled by Mercury makes them highly social and talkative. They can make a friend in every situation and often have an opinion on everything.  Their sister sign, Sagittarius, tends to enjoy new experiences whereas Gemini enjoys new information more.  Gemini is often seen as being two faced, but more often than not, it's due to them simply being able to see all signs of a situation or can be attributed to their ability to blend into every situation. Cancer is the fourth sign of the zodiac. They are the mothers/nurturers. Cancer is a water sign which makes them very in tune with their emotions. However, they often find themselves holding those emotions in only to let them out in private. It's very rare to see a Cancer cry though they do cry quite a bit.  Their Ruler is the moon which does reside over emotions in the birthchart. This gives Cancer the ability to truly tap into what the inner self wants not only for themselves, but for the people around. Which can often lead to Cancer being the dependable friend or the trauma dump friend.  As a Cardinal sign, they usher in the new season - summer. They are leaders by default but often end up taking a more passive approach to being in charge than the other Cardinal signs. They often find themselves in this position due to their ability to empathize with those around them. They are more likely to say the thing you want to hear rather than the things that you need to hear.  Compared to their sister sign, Capricorn, Cancer can be seen as the loving, Nurturing, almost helicopter mother, whereas Capricorn is more like the silent, stoic, hands off father.  Cancer is a great friend to have but be careful because when you get too close, you may find yourself being the one Cancer dumps all of their repressed emotions onto.

Leo is the fifth sign of the Zodiac. While they are not a cardinal sign, they are still natural born leaders. They tend to find themselves at the forefront more often than not simply due to their ability to remain calm in chaos and their ability to have more of a presence than anyone else in the room.  As a fire sign, Leos are fun-loving, fast-paced, energetic people. They are able to light up any room they enter with their personality.  As a fixed sign, Leos are unmoving. They know what they want or deserve and they will not settle for anything less. This can often lead to them coming across as vain or egotistical, when in reality, they are simply sure of themselves and strive for nothing less than the best.  Because they are ruled by the sun, Leo is never a sign that deals with retrogrades. Because of this, they are possibly the most stable and consistent sign of the zodiac. They don't tend to do things halfway or beat around the bush. This can come across to others as Leo being a know it all or stuck up and stubborn, but ultimately, you can always count on a Leo to be the same.  Leo is a masculine sign, which leads it to being more action oriented and less emotion based. However, that does not mean that Leos are not emotional. They tend to just not be forthcoming with their emotions until they are alone or with a trusted person.  While Leos tend to like socialization, they prefer it on a large scale whereas their sister sign, Aquarius, prefers more intimate socialization.  Ultimately, Leo is a wonderful friend to have that you know will stick up for you and fight on your side. They do not waver in the face of adversity.

These people tend to be seen as an older sibling or a dependable partner and friend to have. However, they also exemplify the phrase, “I’m not mad, just disappointed” if you do not cater to their view of what is correct. As an Earth sign, Virgo tends to be rational, logical, and diligent. They work towards their ideals endlessly. Despite this being a mutable sign, typically known for its flexibility, Virgo knows what it likes and accepts nothing else. Virgo works primarily off of ideals and if things do not meet their standards, they throw it aside without regret. Being ruled by Mercury, Virgo places incredible significance on clear and concise communication. They say what they need to say and nothing else. They do not like small talk and prefer to get to the core of any matter quickly. Efficiency is the key word for how Virgo prefers to tackle any task. Virgo is a feminine sign, which lends itself more to its emotions. While Virgo is rational and logical, they are still highly emotional, easily becoming overstimulated or stressed when things are not matching the ideals they placed forth in their head. They will accept perfection and nothing less and if you are not perfect in their eyes, you will experience the full brunt of their disdain and disappointment. While Virgo is structured, their sister sign, Pisces, tends to be more free flowing though both tend to gravitate towards others in order to feel needed or wanted. They tend to be portrayed as wishy-washy, air-headed, non-committal types due to people often misunderstanding the reason for the behaviors seen. As an air sign, Libra is anything but air-headed. They are highly intellectual and are often thinking about a million things at once in order to keep control over any given situation. They often pursue knowledge about the world around them in order to make sound and fair decisions. As a Cardinal sign, Libra’s are leaders, though more often than not, you will see them orchestrating things behind the scenes rather than in front of it. They have a quiet power that they have earned from being highly observant of their surroundings. Because of their ability to pick up on things silently and to then use that information to make things happen, they are often seen as someone who stirs the pot in order to get a result they are anticipating. Being ruled by Venus makes this sign more of a romantic. They place high value on relationships and would do anything to make the people they care about happy. However, because they are ruled by Venus, they tend to want to be friendly with everyone in order to keep peace and harmony. Because of their tendency to be overly sweet to everyone, they are often seen as being flirty or non-committal. As a masculine sign, Libra tends to be more brains than heart. Scorpio is a fixed sign which lends itself to be stubborn and stuck in their ways. Scorpio has specific goals and beliefs and will fight for those goals and beliefs with everything they have. As Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, they tend to have a high regard for the darker things in life. Much like Pluto is the God of Death in Greek mythology, Scorpio tends to be drawn to the occult and the afterlife. As a feminine sign, Scorpio tends to be ruled more by the heart than the head. They make impulsive decisions and tend to make choices based on how they feel in that moment rather than think through the pros and cons first. However, unlike a typical feminine sign, they are anything but demure. They are aggressive and passionate and will stand up to anyone trying to put them down. Scorpio rules the genitals / reproductive system. Because of this, they are a very sexual sign, often seeking pleasure through less than healthy means. Sagittarius is a mutable sign so they tend to be very go with the flow. They adapt quickly to survive any environment they may find themselves in. However, given how charismatic Sagittarius is, they tend to not only transform themselves to fit their environment but also transform their environment to fit themselves. Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so this sign relies very heavily on charisma and luck to make it through their day to day. They make the best of the situation they are in and do not tie themselves to anything or anyone unless they truly see a way to make the best out of it. Sagittarius is a masculine sign, so they tend to be more dominant than most. They prefer freedom in all aspects and will do whatever they have to do to achieve that. Sagittarius is not a sign that is easily held down or back from achieving the things they desire. They are highly driven and very fun loving and refuse to linger in negativity. Sagittarius is highly complimented by their sister sign Gemini. Both thirst for new and exciting things. However, Sagittarius tends to yearn for adventure whereas Gemini thirsts for knowledge. All in all, Sagittarius is a great friend to have. They will always bring you up when you are feeling down and they have a way of making any room they enter feel brighter. However, they are subject to their whims and struggle to commit to anything that may tie them down most often seen in their inability to commit to relationships or specific careers.

Common Characteristics - Stoic Self disciplined Serious Inflexible Hard-hearted

Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac. Capricorn is an earth sign. They exemplify this by being incredible down to earth, stoic, and purpose driven. It is very rare to find a Capricorn that is filled with dreams and aspirations that most would consider to be unattainable. They only pursue things that are realistic and work harder than any other sign to reach the goals they set for themselves. Because of this, they are often seen as being workaholics. As a cardinal sign, Capricorn sets the rules that they live by. They lead by example and hold themselves to an incredibly high standard. If you cannot fall in line, Capricorn will either make you fall in line or drop you entirely. Being ruled by Saturn causes Capricorn to have a high drive to achieve. They thrive to be the best at what they do and must exceed the expectations of everyone around them, however, they never seem to meet their own expectations in the end. Additionally, it is very difficult to bring a Capricorn to their knees. They will persevere through even the toughest of situations. Despite being a feminine sign, Capricorn is the most driven sign. They do not allow emotions to influence their decision making and only make a choice after examining every aspect of how it will benefit them. However, underneath the hard exterior, Capricorn is an incredibly loving sign as most of the drive they have is to provide for those they care for. If Cancer is seen as the nurturing mother, Capricorn is the workaholic father. Both do everything for their families in the ways that they can. 

Aquarius - The Waterbearer Element - Air Position - Fixed Ruler - Uranus Gender - Masculine Body ‐ Shins / Calves / Ankles Sister sign - Leo Dates - January 20th - February 18th

Common Characteristics - Generous Logical Trustworthy Detached RebelliousAquarius is the eleventh sign of the zodiac. Despite the nickname “waterbearer” and the inclusion of the word “aqua” in the name, Aquarius is actually an air sign. This sign is highly intellectual and calculating, often seen pouring over unique content that most people would never find interesting. The words eclectic and quirky come to mind most often when thinking of this sign. Aquarius is a fixed sign. Despite being as free spirited as they are, they do have extremely strong opinions that they back up with experience and research. Most of the time, the things they have strong opinions about are things the layman would never have thought about enough to have an opinion to begin with, but after listening to Aquarius give a  full dissertation on the subject, you’ll begin to understand just how important this thing actually is. Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus which symbolizes innovation, creativity, and liberation. Because of this, Aquarius is often artistic and passionate about creating new and exciting ideas and things. As a masculine sign, this sign tends to be more aloof than not. It is incredibly hard to know what an Aquarius is thinking or feeling at any time. They are incredibly analytical and always have gears turning in their heads. Aquarius highly values socialization in a personal matter. Loving to know everything they can about a specific person or small group of people. Their sister sign, Leo, however, prefers grander scales of popularity. 

Pisces - The Fish Element - Water Position - Mutable Ruler - Neptune Gender - Feminine Body ‐ Feet / Lymphatic System Sister sign - Virgo Dates - February 19th - March 20th

Common Characteristics - Sensible Easy-going Warm-hearted Dreamy Lack of self-confidence Pisces in the twelfth sign of the zodiac. Pisces is a water sign, shown by how in tune they are to not only their own emotions but also to the emotions of everyone around them. They tend to also find themselves drifting off in their own thoughts more often than not. They are incredibly sensitive and tend to people please even to their own detriment. This sign is a mutable sign. They are incredibly subject to the whims of the people and environment around them. Almost seeming more like clay to the formed to appease others. However, do not let this fool you. Pisces is an incredibly powerful sign when they feel like the things they really care about are threatened and will gladly put themselves in harm's way to protect the happiness of others. 

Pisces is ruled by Neptune. This planet causes Pisces to be very dreamy and idealistic. Often tricking themselves into believing that things are better than they actually are. However, this causes the sign to be truly grateful for everything that comes their way, either as a teaching moment or a positive addition to their lives. Thai sign is a feminine sign, causing them to be more demure than most, truly relying on their emotions and the emotions of the people around them to make life altering decisions rather than using the facts. They often tend to follow their gut and instincts, which rarely lead them astray. Whereas Virgo, their sister sign, tends to force their ideals onto those around them, Pisces tend to be the one being molded instead. Pisces is a very delicate sign that holds a core of steel when they need to show it. They are dreamy and often are found in the clouds, but due to their incredible instincts, it almost seems like they are privy to an entire 6th sense that the rest of us do not have.

The point Vertex in the chart indicates sudden event/meeting, for the occurring of which our free will is not included. If a person's Venus conjuncts your Vertex or the reverse (2-3⁰), this is a huge indicator of karmic romantic relationship, but not necessarily a happy one.

I've been studying basic synastry and I found really interesting method to see if a person has karmic relationship with you from past incarnations. You can do this with basically everyone around you - partner, parent, child, friends, co-worker etc. Search if the person's south node (SN) or your SN forms a tight conjunction with a personal planet and vice-versa. For example: You see that you and your bff have SN - personal planet conjunction. This means in 90% of the time that you two need to have this relationship to learn the lessons from past lives in this life. In most cases the person with the SN was the giver in the past lives and the person with the planet was the receiver. Now this needs to be reversed - the person with the planet should be the helper for the SN person and the cycle closes. This, of course, is a really abstract subject so please don't take it literally, because different astrologers have different explanations for it.

I can't remember if I've said this in my previous posts, if so please pardon me. It really fascinates me how the people around me (family, friends, co-workers...) share at least one of my big 3 signs in their personal planets (Sun to Mars). Especially my parents and close friends.

IC is the point in the chart which shows how people like to behave in their home. In that line of thinking we can use IC to understand better if we can live with someone in the same space peacefully or not. For example: My IC is in Cancer, my father's Sun and Asc are in Cancer as well => we have great relationship at home; Or you can use your own IC compared to the person's IC. Virgo and Capricorn ICs will not have problems to live together or for example Taurus and Cancer. My opinion is that when moving in to live with someone, you should always check their IC sign, because that's the way they'll behave at home, their attitude towards the home space and the way they like their home to look like.

In a woman's chart Venus represents the way this woman will behave before forming a family on her own. Her demeanor after having children and partner/husband is represented by her Moon. Some women struggle to make this transition and sometimes this can lead to problems later in life. In a man's chart Venus is the image of the perfect lover and the Moon - mother and wife.

Let me explain my opinion on the Square aspect. I've met some people who are afraid of them, which is really wrong. Squares represent the willingness to solve a problem, but struggling to do it. Later in life or when you are able to overcome the issues of Squares they can become the most stable part of the chart.

Chiron in the 9th house is probably the most favorable place for Chiron to be in, because the person will aim to live life according to their own belief system and rules.

Venus in the 9th house is also a good position, because it gifts the person with amazing humor. It can mean that the person will have a foreign lover or will love/feel fascinated by everything foreign.

Venus square Mars will make a person struggle with uncontrollable anger addressed to their closest people. They will burst in anger even from the smallest misunderstanding or irritation (the signs here are very important). These people need to learn to not take out their frustration in such an aggressive way to their closest ones.

Sun trine Ascendant is the most awesome aspect for sure! When you first come into contact with a person with this aspect you will see how they really are in their core identity. Their energy flows really easy and harmonious.

Sun and Mercury in detriment and fall

Sun in Aquarius

The Sun is considered to be in its detriment in Aquarius because the native is trying to find a sense of significance and importance through the mental assumption of being different. Confidence and radiance is gained through taking pride in the unconventional, the odd or the absurd. The Aquarius Sun learned that there was no way in which one could radiate some special quality of uniqueness and selfhood, which led the native to shine through the counterintuitive way of profiling oneself as a certain ”type” within a group, stubbornly going against the grain and rebelling against norms in order to carve out an identity for the self.

Sun in Libra

The Sun is considered to be in its fall in Libra because the native is basing confidence and personal importance on how well one is able to conduct oneself in order to fit the ideal. A sense of significance is achieved through excelling on the social arena, in making oneself appealing to others and achieving a sense of seamless perfection through being reasonable, sane and agreeable. This is a person who learned that to be someone, was to be able to play the game of society to one’s advantage, to intellectually and aesthetically promote sophistication. Being approved of is the most important thing - adjusting and modifying to achieve social supremacy.

Mercury in Sagittarius

Mercury is in its detriment in Sagittarius because the mental flow is designed to pick up on broader themes in the environment and overlook the neutral details. The mind is speculative rather than observant, following a trail of interesting possibilities that ignore the immediate reality. The native is bored easily and doesn’t have patience for the process of learning. One wants to get to the destination, to the end without having to go through the tedious process of mental labour. There’s a love of learning but a restlessness that prompts the person to seek out more interesting content instead of being patient and digging into the material at hand. There’s a love of mental shortcuts.

Mercury in Pisces

Mercury is in its fall in Pisces because the mental faculty is geared toward weaving stories out of mundane observations, to denote richness of soul to the flow of impressions. Objects and people in the environment become very vivid and multi-layered to the point of confusion. The native usually gets lost in irrelevant mental content because discrimination is not a strong suit, how can it be when there’s no beginning and no end to what can be picked up on? Creative learning is something this type excels at - it should be magical, not tedious. It should be alive, not static. Handling basic facts are not stimulating to the mind and imagination kicks in when it gets too dull.

Astrology 101 - Houses

There are 12 houses in Astrology. Each house is associated with an astrological sign, planet, and certain life events and personal traits.

The first house starts on the left side of the chart and the houses go around the chart in a counter clockwise direction.

In your chart the houses are always the same, but the sign that is in the house changes based on your individual birth time and location. For instance you can have Scorpio in the 1st house, and this would shift which signs influence the house, but the basic traits stay the same. Lets take a look at the houses and some of their basic information below. A little more info on "Rising Signs" (AKA Ascendants) - The star sign that is in the 1st house is the constellation that was on the eastern side of the sky (where the sun rises, hence rising sign) when and where you were born. So in the example it would mean that the constellation of Scorpio was on the eastern horizon of the sky when this person was born, so it becomes the "rising sign," which is also known as the Ascendant.
