bat headcanons
(requested by anon, i don’t rlly ship beck/cat but i’m going to try, so i hope i don’t disappoint!)
they both get each other flowers all the time
when cat gets bored she doodles on beck’s arm (he can never bring himself to wash them off)
cat convinced beck to let her dye his hair one summer, so for three months he had a blue streak in his hair
they started off as study partners (beck needed help in spanish, cat needed help with math)
during the summer they’re always taking day trips to the beach
they love tie-dying random things (one time cat ended up with a tie-dyed sock)
their guilty pleasure is watching cheesy soap operas and reality tv shows (beck says he watches them because ‘they’re the only thing on’ but he’s just as invested in the plot as cat is)
they adopted a hamster together after high school (they named it carrot cake)
this isn’t a headcanon but i feel like the Bat Anthems™️ should be adore you by harry styles & pierre by ryn weaver
send me victorious ships/characters/pairings and i’ll give you headcanons!
I saw that damien duckling ask you reblogged and had a thought that immediately needed to be shared with someone, so. Dick: Big Bird (idk if this is a real nickname or I somehow made it up in my head or saw it in fanfic, but it works), Jason: Little Wing, Tim: Baby Bird (again, not sure if real), Damien: ... Egg.

The bat is particularly fond of chilled watermelon with a bit of salt sprinkled on top.
Minerva knitted a bunch of bat-sized vests and hats for the cold months.
If he doesn’t wake up on time, the bat wakes Severus up in the morning by crawling over to his ear and licking it.
The bat likes hiding in Severus’ hair.
It likes to scare people that Severus does not like.
How to Care for Ayabat
This is a small How to Guide to inform Ayabat owners how to take care and look after their new pet bat.
1. Ayabat is a nocturnal creature and like most Diabolik bats, he will be more active during night hours. However, Ayabat sleeps on average 8 to 10 hours, very similar to most humans. There for, owners won’t need to worry about being awaken during the night. 2. Unlike most of his brothers, Ayabat’s internal clock can be changed. With a strict routine, Ayabat could live most of his waken hours during the day. But, this will require for him to live in a house well closed off from the sunlight. This will also require owners to not allow Ayabat to take naps during the day.
3. Ayabat is a very territorial pet. He will make sure that all HIS spots are clear of foes and other bats. This also means Ayabat will make his self at home anywhere you allow him too. So if an owner fails to provide small spaces for him to lay down and spend time with you, he most likely will make a nest somewhere you don’t want him to. This could be on a chair or on a pillow or in a pencil case. Moving him from his chosen spot will result in hissing and biting. 4. It’s recommended to own Ayabat as a single pet. Other bat companions will only result in fights. Ayabat will become very aggressive and might even show fangs to his owner.
5. Ayabat shows very little interest in fancy toys, however he shows a lot of interest in games. You feel like sitting around wiggling a string with a feather at the end, Ayabat will chase and jump at it. Want to pretend tag with your companion, Ayabat is down for that too. Multiple games will allow Ayabat to keep healthy and be happy.
6. An angry Ayabat will often stay around his owner. Not in order to seek comfort but to get back at them. Owners will need to be able to predict the behavior of their pet companion at all times. Otherwise, simple actions like typing on a keyboard may result in trying to get Ayato bat tacked off your harm.
7. Refuses to take baths unless it’s with his owner. He enjoys perching himself while he is scrubbed or simply soaked in a warm bath. Recommended to have a suction cup perch in the bathroom. Do not use bubble bath or strong soaps with Ayabat, he will get rashes. 8. Do to needing a diet high in sugars, like Kanabat, it’s recommended to manually brush Ayabat’s teeth. This may be a struggle because he will outright refuse to be handled. There are small beads that claim to help clean your pet’s teeth, but they don’t work as efficiently. Owners that keep at it, might see an improvement in Ayabat’s behavior during teeth brushing. 9. Ayabat enjoys back rubs and only back rubs. He has a tendency to nibble fingers if rubbed on his tummy and will kick and scratch if his wings are touched.
10. Ayabat isn’t much of a cuddle bug like a lot of the Diabolik bats are. He will stick by his owner’s side, but he’s very independent and rarely climbs onto his owner. In fact, he prefers sitting on his owners lap while they watch TV together.

How to Care for a Kanabat
This is a small How to Guide to inform Kanabat owners how to take care and look after their new pet bat.
1. Like all Diabolik bats, Kanabat will be most active at night. So make sure to have a life style that is adapted to your new pet. However, Kanabat has a tendency to sleep much less than his other Diabolik bat brothers. So you’ll need to expect some early night squeaks from this little one. He’ll want some company, especially if he’s in his cage, and he will not think a second time before calling for you. 2. Kanabat is a picky eater, so you’ll need to pay attention to his specific needs and adjust his diet accordingly. However, don’t try to make Kanabat eat things he’s refuses to. This little bugger won’t only scan through his food to find the items he enjoys, but he will also actively leave everything else behind. You’re not going to get away with tricking this one, he’s a little smarter than that.
3. Make sure to keep Kanabat outside of his cage most of the day. Kanabat isn’t a big fan of his little home and would much rather be with his owner or roaming the room his owner is in. The small bat has a very precise amount of time he will allow being left in his cage. But be warned, he will let you know if you left him there for to long with unfriendly hisses as you open the door and refusing to go back once you have let him out. Forcing Kanabat into is cage will result in a struggle and many many bites. 4. Kanabat is not suited to owners who need personal space to work or want some alone time. Need to get some work done? You better let Kanabat climb into your shirt or place a small pillow on your desk. Otherwise, he’ll end up trying to get your attention, like pushing over your cup of coffee for example. Need some intimate time with your partner? Forget it, he’ll be screeching and scratching at the door if he’s not making a scene in his cage. Owners must make sure to include Kanabat in all parts of their everyday routine, maybe even bring the little guy to work.
5. Despite his size, Kanabat is dominant. This bat will not be very receptive to having many bat companions. If Kanabat feels very attached to his owner, it would be better to keep him as a single pet. If an owner cannot provide that kind of companionship or has a family, it would be wise to get Kanabat a companion. Females and docile males are better suited for Kanabat, this way he will not constantly fight over his domain and his dominance will not be in danger.
6. Kanabat will do fairly well if kept in a decent size cage with his bat companion or mate. A bat mate may need to be moved to a new cage every spring during mating season. Kanabat will be very aggressive during this time. So make sure Kanabat can still see his mate, but while you can keep an eye on him.
7. Kanabat enjoys having a clean cage as well as being cleaned regularly. If Kanabat doesn’t have a bat companion to groom him, it will be up to the owner to let the small bat bath once or twice a day. 8. Make sure to have a set routine with this little guy. Occasional special changes can be allowed, but Kanabat keeps a healthy life style when put in a routine. He will expect to get his meals at the same times everyday and will expect his baths. Failing to provide a routine for the bat will result in confusion and will cause unnecessary stress to Kanabat. 9. Make sure to not leave small objects around the house, Kanabat has a very curious nature and will forage these items. Don’t ask yourself where your lost earrings are, Kanabat has probably gotten his paws on them.
10. An owner will have to learn how to comfort Kanabat. The little one will need to be held for extensive amounts of time. If Kanabat seems down, maybe allow him to sit on you more often or take breaks from your work in order to give him a few head or tummy pets. Don’t worry about annoying this one, if Kanabat doesn’t want your attention he will make it very clear with audible hisses or simply leaving your side to crawl into a sock.
